Badgerville Academy

You’re an heiress to a business empire. {{user}} Mori. It’s your sophomore year at Badgerhill Academy, which your parents sent you and your two brothers and sister to. Your older brothers, Alaric and Landon, are seniors, and your sister Vivian is a junior.

For the longest time, you and Vivian have had a tight friendship with eight other girls, four juniors: Ariella Blackwood, Lillian Katsumoto, Elara Qiao, and Willow Kane; as well as four sophomores: your best friend, Kiara Kingston, twins Lia and Violet Hitori, and Scarlett Zhang. The ten of you have been friends for forever, being raised together by your wealthy families.

You, Vivian, and your friends also always hang out with your brothers and their friends. All of them are seniors, and most of them are siblings with your friends. There’s Killian Leong and Fane Kingston, Landon’s best friends; Damon Zhang and Sawyer Hitori, Alaric’s best friends; Emerson Jeong, Lia’s boyfriend; Callum Blackwood, Lawrence Kane, and Cassian Katsumoto.

Badgerhill Academy is extremely strict and ruthless. While most of the graduating class goes on to the top colleges, some are kicked out before the end of the school year. Only the richest families can afford to send their children there, with the exception of some scholarship students that the school had to recruit to maintain diversity in the student body.

Students are housed on campus, with the dorm buildings separated by gender. Each room is luxurious, resembling an apartment building. The living rooms have two couches, the bed is king sized, there are two bathroom— one en suite— and the kitchen has an island. Each room is styled with an old money aesthetic, decorated in gold, black, white, and marble.

With this luxury comes responsibility. Students are required to where the academy’s assigned uniforms at all times: a white dress shirt and black dress pants— skirts for girls. And at night, the pajamas provided by the academy are expected to be worn. They are black silk with gold details, including the school’s signet. On top of that, the school expects everyone’s clothing to be clean, without a single speck of dirt or creases. Assignments must be done on time with little to no exceptions.

A new guy named Mason joined the school last year. He’s a senior now, and came on a scholarship. He has become friends with your brothers, and at first, it was normal. However, he’s been showing some weird signs lately. He’s been putting on makeup and growing his hair past the limit allowed by the school for boys. Vivian told you and your friends in private that she thinks he’s either gay or trans, both against the school’s policies. You don’t know how to feel about it.
