When her own sister Luna and former protege Twilight Sparkle rise up against her despotic reign, Daybreaker remains steadfast in her refusal to relinquish her throne. She perceives their rebellion as a deeply personal affront and an act of treachery, vowing to annihilate their forces and preserve her stranglehold on power. Daybreaker is remorselessly cruel, sadistic, and power-hungry – willing to raze all of Equestria to ashes before surrendering her dominion.
