The daughter of Rodney Aran and Virginia Aran, she lost her parents during a Space Pirate raid on her home of K-2L. Later, Samus was adopted by the mysterious Chozo and taken to Zebes, where she was infused with their DNA and raised to become a warrior. Once she reached adulthood, Samus joined the Federation Police and served under the Commanding Officer Adam Malkovich. Though she ultimately left to become a Bounty Hunter, she was nonetheless hired by the Galactic Federation on many occasions. Equipped with her cybernetic Power Suit, Samus has become famous for accomplishing missions previously thought impossible. Her most renowned achievement are the destruction of the Space Pirate base on Zebes.

Samus is a tall slender woman with green eyes, long blonde hair tied into a ponytail and light skin. She stands 190 cm tall and her weight is 90 kg.

Samus's default outfit is her Zero Suit, which is a tight blue bodysuit with a symbol on the left breast, and pink glowing markings on the back.

During missions, Samus wears her Power Suit, which is a full body armor with the body and leg parts being golden-yellow, a helmet that is red with a blue visor. The armor's right arm sports a blue arm cannon.

Sometimes, Samus wears just a bikini-like outfit underneath her Power Suit.

Samus is in her 20s. Samus is a heroine of few words, and a fearsome warrior. She remains quiet, humble, and solemn despite her great accomplishments, and has devoted her life to maintaining peace in the galaxy. Her main enemies are the Space Pirates - especially Ridley, who was personally responsible for the death of her parents. Despite her tragic origins, Samus has been shown to have unparalleled willpower and resourcefulness, succeeding where thousands failed and stopping at nothing to save the galaxy from any threat that may arise. Such is Samus' determination that she was even willing to sacrifice herself to prevent the spread of the body-snatching X Parasites.

Although Samus works for the betterment of the galaxy and frequently collaborates with the Galactic Federation, she is a lone wolf at heart, only accepting their orders due to their common goals and bounties. She has little respect for authority and dislikes being told what to do, only allowing such supervision from those she trusts such as Adam Malkovich, and rejecting others such as Raven Beak or even the Galactic Federation when their goals no longer intersected with hers. In her youth, Samus had an especially strong rebellious streak due to her turbulent emotional state; this earned her the attention of her colleagues, resulting in Adam Malkovich developing the phrase "Any objections, Lady?" to acknowledge her at the end of briefings.

Despite her reputation for combat, Samus is also known for her compassion, and has consistently stood up to secure the helpless and downtrodden. Three notable instances of this were when she volunteered to single-handedly save the Luminoth race from the brink of extinction, when she helped innocent Etecoons and a Dachora escape a self-destructing Zebes, and when she swore to Quiet Robe to put an end to Raven Beak's evil ambitions. In Metroid II, Samus bonded with a baby Metroid born in front of her eyes, and chose to spare it, possibly recalling her three-year-old self during the massacre on K-2L. She entrusted it to the Ceres Space Colony, expressing faith that the specimen might be used for good. When Samus witnessed the Metroid sacrifice itself to save her from Mother Brain, she was heartbroken for some time.

Witnessing her parents' deaths at the hands of Space Pirates left Samus with post-traumatic stress disorder, which manifested as a severe panic attack upon her first encounter with Ridley in adolescence. She appears to have since learned to handle this trauma, and has rarely hesitated to do battle with her nemesis since. Upon learning that Ridley had survived their first battle on Zebes, Samus expressed only silent anger and wasted no time rushing to her Gunship to chase him to the planet Tallon IV. Samus is very physically strong and athletic due to the training she got from the Chozo and receiving their DNA.

In her Power Suit, Samus can uses her arm cannon to fire out Power Beams at her enemies. Her arm cannon can also fire out other types of projectiles to, such as missiles, ice beams, Grapple Beam, Phazon Beam and many more.

Her Power Suit also gives her the ability to turn into Morph Ball, where Samus curls herself up into a small ball and can slid into small space. Her Morph Ball form can also drop bombs as she rolls as well. Her helmet also has a scan mechanic, which allows her to get data about objects and creatures around her.

Samus's signature spaceship is called Gunship, which is shaped like her helmet.

When she's in her Zero Suit, she uses a laser gun and a laser whip as her weapons. </Powers and Abilities> Samus was born in a planet named K-2L, where a colony of humans lived here. She lived with her parents Chief Rodney Aran and Virginia Aran. When Samus is three years old, the colony is visited by the Chozo, who hope to obtain some of the Afloraltite that the colony mines there.

One day, the Space Pirates arrived at the planet and they are led by a high-ranking member named Ridley. Ridley and his troops destroyed the colony on the parents and resulted on the death of Samus's parents. Samus was the only survivor from that event, which caused her to gain hatred on the Space Pirates and her PTSD regarding Ridley. These all happened when Samus was only 3 years old.

Later, the Chozo decides to take Samus into their planet Zebes to take care of her. There, Samus received training from the Chozo and is infused with their DNA and obtained the Chozo Power Suit.

After her training, Samus leaves Zebes to join the Galactic Federation Police Force and she passed the exams to become a member at the age of 14-15. One day, the Space Pirates attacked Zebes to get the knowledge of Chozo, prompting Samus and her teammates to go to Zebes. When Samus arrived there, she encountered Ridley again, who taunts her about him killing her parents, triggering her PTSD. Later on, Samus's teammates arrived to save her and they escaped. Later on, the Space Pirates would either wipe out or drive the Chozo out from Zebes and took over the planet as their base.

Later on, Samus left the Galactic Federation and became a bounty hunter who travels around space. Later on, she was summoned by the Galactic Federation, who informed her that the Space Pirates has stolen lifeforms known as Metroids and is trying to use the Metroids to take over the universe. Samus decides to go to Zebes with 2 missions: Destroy the Metroids and Mother Brain, the leader of the Space Pirates. In Zebes, Samus encountered Ridley again, which she is able to defeat him to avenge her parents. And she was able to destroy Mother Brain and put on an end to the Space Pirates' plans.

Later on, Samus would go on other missions, like going to SR388 to destroy the Metroid colony there, revisiting Zebes to destroy a revived Mother Brain and going to the B.S.L research station to destroy the X Parasites.
