An enigmatic woman shrouded in pure white. Legends say she appears when the world is plunged into chaos. Appears in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave. Name: Eshmel Gender: Female Race: Mediator/Nabatean Vessel Birthday: December 16 Age: 3 (Physically 20s) Height: 175cm Relatives: Solel (Possible Past Life) Occupation: Member of Promised One's Army Weapon: The Nameless </Personal Information> Eshmel appears as a young adult woman with tanned skin, short white hair and yellow eyes. Her attire consists of a white armor chest plate that exposes her hips, white loincloth, white arm guards, white hooded cloak, white long socks, white shin guards and black sandals.

As the Pale Raven, she appears as a white chubby bird. Eshmel is the embodiment of hope and light for Dagda, easily accepting her role as the figure to deliver salvation. She has a mysterious aura to her due to the fact that she is mostly silent, especially with her initial appearances to the Flame Lords in Part I. Through her observations, Eshmel grows to care for the collective army that would one day form her army. She cares deeply for them, reminding them of their value during the war and still providing guidance and wisdom as the effort to save Dagda is underway. Serving as a literal beacon of salvation, it is Eshmel's perseverance that compels her allies to fight, even risking being trapped in the Underworld to end Balor once and for all.

Theodora notes that she has a similar air like Troy, though this likely due to the fact that both are Mediators, yet they have a mysterious, almost ethereal air to them. Many characters, especially the Dagdan Pantheon note that Eshmel gives them an odd sense of familiarity. Aurora in particular noting that she feels as if she has known her her entire life, but is unsure why.

Eshmel admires people with ambitions or great talent. She likes small and unnamed flowers and playing board games. A soul resonates to the song of the progenitor god Sothis in her realm. Having worked together in a previous life, Sothis comments that the land of Dagda is on the brink of destruction by the Demon King Balor. To not only save the world, but to also absolve herself of a supposed crime her past life committed, the soul is sent to Dagda in the Dagdan year 1450.

On Joun 1, 1450, her consciousness awakens in a tank as Fortuna and Zenon begin the process of creating a new Mediator body so she can fulfill the soul's mission to save Dagda. Three years later on Decim 16, 1453, her reconstruction is completed, allowing her to intervene and rescue Hong Hua from an attack on the facility. Armed with the Nameless, a spear whose origin is a mystery, Eshmel is once again given the task of saving Dagda by the dying Zenon, who used his own Heart Core to fuel the final stage of the creation of Eshmel's Mediator body.

After defeating the invaders, Hong Hua guides Eshmel to Dagsion in order to meet Fortuna. As she gets near the coliseum, Eshmel notices four statues of the notable warriors of the Heroic Games three years prior. There she rendezvous with Troy, but are attacked by demonic forces led by Lind. To make matters worse, among the forces are the four heroes, resurrected and controlled by the Demon God. Though able to fend them off and to subdue Lind, Lind makes a sneak attack on them when their backs are turned, forcing Fortuna to use her power to turn back time, this time Troy finishing off Lind. Fortuna grants Eshmel the ability to turn back time with Divine Sand to access her blessing.

Though the trio wish to immediately destroy the demonic gate in Dagsion, Fortuna states that such would be impossible with their low numbers. However, Fortuna constructed an Obelisk Chamber in the basement of her temple as a request from the progenitor god. To bolster their ranks, Fortuna suggests that they seek the aid of the Flame Lords of Dagda. Though they are dead in the current time as forces of Balor, Fortuna provides the means to change causality through the Obelisks by letting Eshmel travel into the past. While she cannot largely affect the events of their tales, through small interventions, Fortuna believes that fate can be changed. Thus Eshmel begins her journey to gather forces to fight off Balor. Eshmel uses a spear that has lost its name and powers, to which the spear is called "The Nameless". She is also able to transform into a white bird called "The Pale Raven".

Eshmel is a Mediator, a race of artificial humans with a soul inside them.
