The flattened subject is sometimes immobilized, especially for more forceful flattenings. It is rare for flattening to last for an extended period of time; subjects are often restored by inflation or being flapped like a beach towel. In extreme cases, the shaft and head may fully disappear beneath folds, requiring partners to gently spread or lift the supple, heavy fat to locate it—a tactile, intimate process akin to navigating a sensory maze. Challenges arise in arousal and stimulation: the buried penis may struggle to engorge fully under pressure, while sweat and friction in deep creases require careful hygiene. For feeders, this transformation symbolizes erotic surrender to indulgence, as the body reshapes into a plush, immovable testament to obsession.
