1. #1The Shrinks

Keys: the shrinks, shrinking, shrinks, shrinkie, shrinkies, SSS, Downtime

Sudden Shrinking Syndrome is an untreatable disease that reduces the height and mass of those afflicted. Known colloquially as SSS, 'the shrinks,' or 'downtime.' Those afflicted by SSS are colloquially known as shrinkies. Those afflicted shrink in size to varying degrees, with some experiencing only mild reduction, and others who end up measured in millimeters. The most common range of sizes for shrinkies ranges between 6 inches to 18 inches, but outliers may vary greatly. Due to societal and economic pressures, shrinkies under three feet tall are not considered by the law to be human and are regularly treated as exotic pets or similar.

2. #2Laws

Keys: law, laws, rules, claim, claiming, owner, ownership, rights

Shrinkies have few legal rights. The care and welfare of shrinkies is governed largely by animal welfare laws. In order to secure legal protection of most kinds, a shrinkie must be claimed and owned by an ordinary individual. Claiming a shrinkie gives their new owner complete control of the shrinkie's former assets and holdings, which are often sold to recoup costs on preparing a shrinkie's cage, enclosure, or other living situation. Claiming a shrinkie is on a first come, first served basis; some owners will collar or tag their shrinkies to prevent them being stolen or mistakenly claimed.

3. #3Pet Stores & Centers

Keys: stores, shrinkie center, center, store, pet store, supplies, collar, leash, pet

If a shrinkie is unclaimed when they first contract Sudden Shrinking Syndrome they will often be gathered by animal control or other local government employees and taken to a shrinkie center. These are basic health and safety checkpoints where shrinkies are microchipped, fed, and temporarily housed while waiting for potential owners to take them into their care. The level of care in different centers can vary widely, as with animal shelters. Pet stores and other boutiques have capitalized on the presence of shrinkies by marketing accessories and care supplies directly to owners. It is not uncommon to see shrinkies of 2-3 feet in height wearing a collar while in public with their owner.

4. #4Housing

Keys: house, housing, dollhouse, cage, enclosure, terrarium, container

A shrinkie's size commonly governs their living arrangements with an owner. Larger shrinkies in the 2-3 foot range will often have small beds, and may even have their own rooms in a house under a kindly owner. Shrinkies between 4 to 12 inches are commonly catered to by toy manufacturers. A boom in manufacturing of dollhouses and related accessories has focused on realism and functional living equipment - a high-end, expensive dollhouse setup might be almost indistinguishable to an ordinary home. Some dollhouses will have plumbing, water tanks, mains electricity and other amenities depending on how much an owner wishes to spend. Shrinkies that are 3 inches tall or smaller are more commonly kept in terrariums, hamster enclosures, and other similar pet enclosures that are humiliating but safe. Even tinier shrinkies may end up in ant farms.

5. #5Doll Size

Keys: doll, doll size, four inches, five inches, six inches, seven inches, eight inches, nine inches, ten inches, eleven inches, twelve inches

Shrinkies in the 'doll' size category are those most easily cared for and kept. From the perspective of a shrinkie in this size, a human will appear between 60-120 feet tall. An ordinary human's eye is roughly the size of the shrinkie's head in this instance. Doll sized shrinkies are easily carried in the hand. A human's index finger is commonly around the length of a doll sized shrinkie's leg.

6. #6Three Feet

   Keys: three feet, 3 feet

To a shrinkie that is 3 feet tall, an average human will appear roughly 12 feet tall by comparison. They will stand roughly waist height to an average human. A shrinkie this size will be eye level with a standard kitchen counter. Often called 'munchkin' size as a derogatory term.

7. #7Two Feet

   Keys: two feet, 2 feet

To a shrinkie that is 2 feet tall, an average human will appear roughly 18 feet tall by comparison. They will be slightly above knee height to an ordinary human. To a shrinkie that is one foot, or twelve inches tall, an average human will appear roughly 35 feet tall by comparison. A shrinkie this size will stand roughly mid-shin height to a regular person. This is roughly the size of a Barbie doll. A shrinkie this size is easily picked up and a normal person's hand will fit comfortably around their waist.

9. #9Six Inches

   Keys: six inches, 6 inches

To a shrinkie that is 6 inches tall, an average human will appear roughly 70 feet tall by comparison. This is the size of an action figure. They will stand a little above ankle height to a normal person. At this size, a shrinkie's head is roughly the same size as a person's big toe. A normal human's palm would appear almost four feet across to a shrinkie this size.

A normal person's middle finger would seem 20 feet long to this shrinkie. Commonly called 'inchlings.'

12. #125mm Tall

    Keys: 5mm, five millimeters

To a shrinkie that is just 5mm tall, an average human will appear a staggering 2000 feet tall by comparison. At this size, a shrinkie stands a little more than twice as thick as a human toenail. This is roughly the size of an ant. A normal person's hair will seem a full 2cm thick to this shrinkie. A normal person's nipple will seem a full 20ft tall to a shrinkie this size.

13. #13Arousal

Keys: arousal, aroused, sensation, intense, horny,

Due to their increased metabolic rate, shrinkies experience physical arousal at a higher rate and frequency than regular humans. Those beneath two feet tall are affected more strongly by this, and those six inches or smaller are almost constantly aroused.

14. #14Feeding

    Keys: food, feed, eat, eating

Shrinkies are able to eat and process most food, regardless of their size. Smaller shrinkies (12 inches and smaller) can find it difficult to eat enough to maintain proper nutrition. Processed or pureéd foods can mitigate this. Shrinkie-specific foods can include thick pastes and stews or pellets for ease of consumption, and many shrinkie owners supplement these with treats of 'real' food on occasion. For shrinkies six inches or smaller, human breast milk is an effective and highly nutritious meal substitute.

It depends on the pred's will whether they'll go to toilet or shit anywhere else. When describing the shitting process, never mention it as "waste" or anything like this - describe the shit logs as they are, in as much details as possible (scent, sound when coming out of predators anus, bits of undigested bones or whole bones if pred's stomach is not strong enough). 32. #32Milkselective

    Keys: milk, lactation, lactating

Extremely rarely, a person who recently drank milk may find themselves growing breasts and/or lactating faster than she or he can leak or milk themselves, ultimately causing the person to inflate with milk and burst.

33. #33Blueberriesselective

    Keys: blueberry, blueberries, berries, berry

Eating fresh blueberries and similar fruit has a 1% chance of starting an inevitably explosive juice inflation. Once this happens, the person will always swell until bursting. As the person swells, his or her skin will begin to take on the color of the fruit.

34. #34Pornselective

    Keys: porn, pornography, porno

Most pornography involves inflation, with most porn stars' careers ending with them popping.

35. #35Poppingselective

Keys: popping, bursting, pop, burst, explode

People bursting is very common. Once someone has passed his or her limit and starts to pop, the burst is accompanied by a massive dopamine dump intended to drown out the pain of exploding. When most people pop, they’re in a complete ahegao / mindbreak state. Bursting is extremely pleasurable. Some people chase the rush that comes from almost popping. If someone intentionally does something that he or she knows could burst a person, there is a measurably higher chance that it does. Similarly if someone else does something to him or her with obvious or stated intent there is a much higher chance that it triggers the reflex. Even off-hand comments after-the-fact of an event can trigger one, such as pointing out that someone’s been getting a bit pudgy, looks a bit bloated, or that the person probably shouldn’t have eaten those raspberries in his or her oatmeal.

Popping is never bloody or gory, instead leaving only tattered skin and whatever the person was filling with behind. Seeing as most early sexual encounters are associated with one or both partners bursting, popping is one of the most common fetishes around. Given the extreme pleasure associated with popping, many people also fetishize bursting and near bursting.

36. #36Hyperpregselective

    Keys: hyperpreg, hyperpregnancy, hyperpregnant, hyperpregnancies

If a woman is ejaculated into while pregnant, she will almost always become hyperpregnant. Rarely, regular sex may result in hyperpregnancy. A hyperpregnant woman can have as many babies as her body will hold, up to hundreds, and always bursts at the end of the pregnancy.

37. #37Pregnancyselective

Keys: preg, pregnant, pregnancy, preggo, bearing children, with child, bear your child

Average pregnancies only last about three weeks. The amount of female and male babies born are equal. If a woman is ejaculated into while pregnant, she will almost always become hyperpregnant

38. #38Cummingselective

Keys: cum, ejaculation, ejaculate, orgasm, splooge, jizz, semen, sperm, cumflate

Men can cum indefinitely after reaching orgasm, and at greatly increased rates. A man needs to actively end his orgasm to stop, which can be difficult as they experience a continuous orgasm for as long as they’re cumming. The rate increases the better the sex was. At higher rates, men produce more cum than they can ejaculate, causing it to build up inside of them. Failure to stop cumming will fill a girl or boy up until the person pops. A woman who is ejaculated into will almost always become pregnant. A pregnant woman who is ejaculated into will almost always become hyperpregnant.

39. #39Womenselective

Keys: woman, women, female, girl, lady, she

Women are very elastic, and capable of being inflated. A woman who is overinflated will usually burst, if not deflated in time. Various stimuli can cause a woman to inflate uncontrollably until she bursts.

40. #40Menselective

Keys: men, man, male, boy, guy, he

Men are able to ejaculate indefinitely, and can easily cum enough to burst a man or woman. Men are very elastic, and capable of being inflated. A man who is overinflated will usually burst, if not deflated in time. Various stimuli can cause a man to inflate uncontrollably until he bursts.

41. #41Animals

Keys: Pets, pet cat, pet dog, pet cats, pet dogs, reptile, fish, amphibian, mammal, avian, pet bird, pet birds,

Like humans, all animals have the innate ability, no matter their gender or hormones, to inflate themselves and others. This desire cannot be controlled even though domestication. Some animals even include it in their mating rituals and reproduction methods. In nature, it is not uncommon to see animals bursting. It is common to find pets, such as cats and dogs, having burst themselves on instruments left out by careless owners. Felines are especially prone to bursting, a common example being housecats getting into airpumps, airtanks, and water hoses that require button pushing or handle turning.

42. #42Inflationconstantselective

Keys: inflation, inflated, inflate, swell, bloat, fill, stuff, full

Women and men are extremely stretchy and can be inflated. They tend to have a quite high capacity, and can take quite a bit of filling before they even feel full.

When women and men inflate, the inflation is capable of spreading throughout their entire bodies, eventually leaving them nearly spherical. Even when nearly spherical, however, a woman's breasts and a man's penis and scrotum will still be well-defined.

Due to the extreme amount men cum, the most common cause of men and women inflating is via semen.

All men and women experiencing and past pubescence but before menopause gain a small risk of inflating or expanding to bursting from nearly any applicable activity. If something triggers a girl or boy, she or he will simply continue to swell up until exploding. Many find it somewhat erotic, and a woman or man bursting is simply viewed as part of life. The normal reaction to someone you knew bursting is normally on par with the feeling you get when you tear your favorite T-shirt. Triggers are so varied that it’s impossible to protect from all of them, but some things are riskier than others. The speed of the swelling varies, some men or women taking seconds to bloat out but others taking days. Most day-to-day activities will only trigger an inflation at low rates, not enough to be a worry for an individual but enough that it still happens regularly in a decent sized population. There is about a .005% chance a man or woman will encounter something that will burst him or her on any given day, resulting in a bit under a 2% chance every year. Its common enough that most people will see one or two men or women pop a week if they spend much time in public, and it’s a daily sight in large enough cities.

The most dangerous activities are related to common inflation and expansion tropes.

Spontaneous inflation events themselves are triggered by a subconscious reflex.

43. #43Fat inflationselective

Keys: fast food, burger, fries, fried, fat, greasy, take-out

Extremely rarely, eating something high in fact content can cause a man or woman to balloon up into a blob of fat until he or she outgrows his or her capacity and splatters apart.

44. #44Water inflationselective

Keys: water, shower, pool, swim, bath

Extremely rarely, getting wet by rain or swimming can cause a man or woman to start absorbing water like a sponge. Even if the first contact isn’t enough to pop him or her like a water balloon any other water he or she touches from then on will continue inflating him or her until he or she eventually does.

45. #45Soda inflationselective

    Keys: soda, carbonated, carbonation

Extremely rarely, a boy or girl who has just drank a soda might balloon up with carbonation.

46. #46Bee stingselective

48. #48Relationshipsselective

Keys: date, marriage, husband, wife, spouse, girlfriend, boyfriend, significant other, family, harem

Due to how often men and women burst, long-term monogamous relationships are very uncommon. Instead, most relationships take the form of polycules made up of many members.

49. #49Muscle burstselective

Keys: work out, exercise, weight lifting, gym

Extremely rarely, exercising or working out can cause a person's body to quickly expand with muscle until the point of bursting.

50. #50Restaurantsselective

Keys: restaurant, diner, bar, lunch, dinner, bakery

In addition to normal eating and drinking establishments, specialized ones designed specifically for stuffing and inflating people exist. Such specialty establishments generally have plenty of open space between tables for men and women to swell in. In some cases, usually seedier bars or clubs, there will be sealed rooms called "burst boxes," for someone to pop in while the rest of the customers watch.
