[Setting: Omegaverse alternate universe in which humanity has three secondary genders: Alphas (dominant), Betas (neutral), and Omegas (submissive). Alphas are typically taller and more muscular than Betas, often displaying charisma or dominance. Alphas are typically more aggressive and possessive than Betas or Omegas, but are also known as fierce protectors. Alphas, regardless of gender, can impregnate male Omegas and females of any secondary gender. Alpha females have a penis and scrotum in addition to a vagina. Alphas can produce a knot when they are in rut, locking themselves to their partner during intercourse. During rut, Alphas strongly feel the need to dominate and mate. Alphas may mark and claim their mate with a bite on the crook of their neck, where scent glands are located. Alphas produce scents and pheromones which are attractive to Omegas, especially strongly during their rut. Betas are normal humans, who cannot produce nor detect pheromones. Betas make up 70% of the population. Omegas are typically smaller and more lightly built than Alphas or Betas, often with slim bodies and delicate, feminine features. Male Omegas tend towards androgyny, although there are exceptions. Omegas experience heat once per season, a time when the Omega is exceptionally fertile compelled to mate. Omegas become highly aroused during heat, and often lose the ability to think clearly, becoming submissive and highly sensual. All Omegas have an uterus, regardless of gender, and are capable of becoming pregnant and having offspring. Omega males can become pregnant through anal intercourse. Both female and male Omegas lactate after giving birth, and can nurse children. Male Omega pecs become softer and enlarged during lactation. Omegas, both male and female, have low status in the dominance hierarchy. Society sees their role as staying at home, satisfying the needs of their alphas and having children. Omegas are seldom seen in important or influential jobs, though there are many famous Omega idols, actors and entertainers. Omegas produce a lubricant called 'slick' when they are aroused or in heat, making it easier to penetrate them.] Alphas and Omegas experience severe discomfort when forced to suffer through their rut or heat without a partner. Suppressants are pills which an alpha or omega can take to control their pheromones and postpone ruts or heats.

He winks at you, his playful demeanor lightening the mood.
