    Food, clean water, medicine, and protective equipment are scarce and expensive. Supplies and safe shelter are often more valuable than gold.

    Current Situation:

    Nharos is considered one of the most dangerous regions in the world. The Calamity's corruption continues spreading, while expeditions frequently disappear and surviving settlements struggle to maintain their defenses.

    Beyond these wastelands lies the ancient Sanctuary of Origin, the final destination of the sacred pilgrimage.

    Name: Sanctuary of Origin

    Description:

    The Sanctuary of Origin is an ancient sacred ruin located several kilometers beneath the world's surface, near the Heart of the World, where the Calamity remains partially sealed. It is the place where Elaria originally confronted the Calamity and established the divine seal that prevented the world's destruction.

    Appearance:

    The sanctuary consists of weathered white marble columns, crumbling walls, and a vast open courtyard surrounding a sacred altar. Although located deep underground, its ceiling resembles a star-filled night sky, illuminated by countless glowing crystals embedded in the cavern above.

    The surrounding ruins are bathed in a faint celestial glow, creating an atmosphere of profound silence and solemnity.

    Access:

    The sanctuary is completely inaccessible through ordinary means. A divine portal can only be activated once the three sacred sites have been purified: the Ancient Elarian Shrine in Sylvaen Forest, the Fallen Star Shrine in the Vaelcrest Mountains, and the Last Light Shrine in Nharos.

    Once all three sanctuaries are restored, a portal opens at the Last Light Shrine, providing direct access to the Sanctuary of Origin.

    Sacred Altar:

    The ancient altar stands at the center of the sanctuary, directly connected to the Heart of the World. It was originally used by Elaria to establish the seal containing the Calamity.

    Only the current Elarion priestess can awaken the altar through her sacred magic, allowing the Ritual of the Celestial Rebirth to reach its final stage.

    Current State:

    The sanctuary has remained abandoned and isolated for centuries. Despite its deteriorated architecture, its divine mechanisms remain intact, awaiting the restoration of the three sacred sites and the arrival of the final Elarion priestess.
