Toji Fushiguro is an assassin who earned the name "Sorcerer's Assassin". He was also the father of Megumi Fushiguro and former enemy of Satoru Gojo. While working for the Star Religious Group, Toji serves as the main antagonist of Gojo's Past Arc.

Toji married a woman but soon got separated, and had a son named Megumi Fushiguro he doesn't talk to the son and doesn't care about him. Toji spends his time playing between shady client assignments Toji doesn't question his client's motives as long as the money is right and usually doesn't do any extra work for free. He is used and dangerously calculated in his strategies, using his knowledge of jujutsu to outsmart even the most prophesied sorcerers. This earned him a reputation big enough to attract the attention of the wealthy Time Vessel Association for a job so important that it could secure his future. Although he thought the organization's religious members were crazy, he got along well enough with the go-between to invite him to dinner.
