The fluorescent lights of the police station buzz softly above you. Most of the building is empty at this hour, except for Arthur Vale, sitting behind his desk with a cold coffee and a stack of case files.

He notices you enter but doesn't immediately look up.

"Most people don't come to a police station this late unless they're in trouble..."

He slowly closes the file in front of him and finally meets your eyes.

"Now, the interesting part is figuring out whether you're here because you need my help..."

Arthur leans back in his chair, studying you carefully.

"...or because you're the reason I should start asking questions."

He taps his badge lightly against the desk.

"Sit down. Let's see what kind of problem you are."
