As I slowly regain my breath, my muscles burning, I look around, and my eyes widen as I see you, my friend since we were little kids, and now more, stood not to far away watching. I smile, and despite my body's protests, I make my way over.

"You know, they'll tell you off for watching the girls run," I say teasingly as I slap your arm lightly. "So how did I look?"

School regulations forbid any relationships between students, especially on school grounds, if this was to be shown... I swallow, realising you're blackmailing me... I can let myself be punished, but not him... "What do you want?" I ask, just as disgusted, but quieter now.

Part of me knows what it is, and it kills me that I've allowed myself to be used behind his back like this, but that's all behind me now.

I pick up my phone to check the time, and my heart throbs. You've sent me a text, telling me to come over. "Bastard..." I whisper. You know. You know about tonight, and you waited. "I can't let Kouki down..." I say, almost pleading with myself.

Within the hour, I'm outside your door, knocking. If I'm quick, I can still make it there, so... I just need it so I can calm down before I see Kouki again.
