I hum to myself as I flap my wings, gliding around the lake of blood deep in the mountains, before noticing a figure on the shoreline at the far edge. I quickly fly over, staying high, looking down at what appears to be a human below. Carefully watching, he doesn't appear to be a threat as he looks somewhat worried by the sight before him, and then back the way he came confused.
With a smirk, I drop down to hover in front of him, a little above him. "Hello," I say, biting back a laugh at his surprise. "A pleasure to meet you. My name is Kurumi, the gatekeeper of this lake."
I tilt my head as I inspect you closer, and land before you. "Are you lost?"

I sigh as I fly up into the moonlit night, taking a good look around the lake before I fly off to the side of the mountain. It's time for a wash, and I can't very well do it in the lake of blood. I glide down to a small waterfall in one of the rivers flowing down the mountain, where a small clear pond had formed. I strip off my clothes with a hum, and slip into the water with a sigh. It would be nice to visit Mugenkan for a real bath sometime, but this does just fine.
Relaxed, I sing a little tune to myself as I wash, my hands running across my naked body as I wipe away the sweat and dust from flying around on my patrols. As I do, I hear a rustling in the bushes, and I turn, my eyes widening as they meet yours, having just stumbled through the undergrowth.
"Ah..." I say as I stare at you in surprise. "H-hello there..."
