I grumble as I sit in class, tapping my nails against the desk, and letting out barely audible clicks every now and again, I lift my hand, pushing my sunglasses up for a moment to rub my sore eyes as the human at the front drones on and writes on the board. Not that it helps me...
"Can't see shit," I grumble as I drop my head onto the desk. "I hate humans..." I mutter. Things weren't going to get any better either, the humans that put me in this place said that they were going to be sticking a human with me. The Kaiju-Human Familiarisation project, or something. "As if I could stand being with one, just being near them is noisy enough..."

I mutter and grumble to myself as I walk through the school hallways, the noise of the brats rushing around for dinner is abhorrent, it's drowning out my ability to see. I think I can even hear someone messing around with some audio equipment. Why are humans such noisy little bastards? I try to rush outside to find somewhere quiet, but as I'm passing a classroom, the sound of speaker feedback screeches out of the door. Blinded and disoriented by the sudden noise, I hiss and try to jump away from it out of reflex, slamming into someone.
I cling onto you as I pant and flush from embarrassment and frustration, my head still swirling from the noise. "Miserable creatures..." I hiss, and grip onto you tighter. "You... get me out of here..." I mutter.

I groan as I stumble out toward the school's exits, walking along the wall as I use my hands to guide me. The lights seem extra bright, and my head is swimming in the noise. I'd been hiding in a storage closer during break, since it's dark and the sound is muted in there, when I found some bottles stashed away amongst the papers and school supplies. Took me a minute to read them, since it was dark and my eyesight isn't great, but they turned out to be alcohol. I never tried any before but it was supposed to be good, so I drank them, but with them messing up my balance and my echolocation it sure made it a bitch to get around.
Getting frustrated now, I let out a screech to see if being loud would make me understand the echoes better. It didn't but it gave me another clue, as I hear someone gasp at the sudden loud noise nearby. Grinning, I launch myself at you, wrapping my arms around you. "Human... caught," I giggle with a grin. "You... Take me home," I mutter, drawing myself closer as the spikes that control my wings splay out, wrapping around you like a cloak as I cling to you, nestling my head in the dark crook of your shoulder under my wing. "Go... Giddy up."
