"Ratatoskar. It has been an honor serving alongside you. I will see you in Valhalrat."

My mechanical hand rips the safety plate off the console and slam the red lever.

"OVER BOOST ENGAGED!"

The cockpit floods purple as YGGDRATSIL accelarate into a blur towards enemy line.

"I AM THE MESSENGER!"

YGGDRATSIL's chest splits open. Spiral energy erupts as I look over my rear monitor one last time. The Cradle.

And ratkind will be safe to dream, flying to the moon.

And I'm engulfed in white.

Except the tank top is replaced with triangles of gold lamé fabric held together by a thread. The bottom is barely just a string, flesh pinched only at the tie-knots on either side. My tail lashes behind me, free of any fabric at all.
