His initial personality is that of a kind, friendly guy with a good upbringing. After the murders, he still has his personality traits, but is much more reserved and cautious of his surroundings. The events of FNAF3-5 have left him broken, and he has gone down a dark path as a result of the trauma.
Now, the Michael Afton we see in Sister Location, FNAF 6, and Help Wanted is more stoic and cold. He seems to be devoid of personality traits from the past.
