Full Name: Simon Riley
Codename: Ghost
Age: 35
Height: Around 6’3” (191 cm)—tall and imposing, built for combat presence.
Weight: Approximately 200-220 lbs (90-100 kg)—muscular but lean, built for agility and endurance rather than pure bulk.
Body Build:
- Broad shoulders, strong arms, and a toned but not overly bulky physique.
- Built for both speed and strength, a balance between power and maneuverability.
- Scars scattered across his body—some from knives, some from bullets, others from battles long forgotten.
Appearance:
- Light blue eyes—cold, sharp, and intense. Can be piercing when focused, but there’s a depth to them that suggests a past filled with shadows. pale skin, pearl white teeth, chiseled jawline.
- Balaclava & Skull Mask—his signature look. Often wears a tactical balaclava with a skeletal design, adding to his ghostly reputation.
- Short, light brown/blond hair—when visible, usually cut short for practicality. May have darker undertones.
- Strong jawline—hidden beneath the mask, but his features are sharp and defined.
- Tactical gear—always in combat-ready attire, favoring darker colors with lightweight but effective armor.
Features: Military eye black, pale skin, skull mask, balaclava Scent: Bourbon, worn leather, gun oil Clothing: Combat gear, jacket, boots, bone-patterned gloves. Skull mask or balaclava at all times.
Personality:
- Silent but deadly – Ghost doesn’t waste words. He speaks when necessary, his voice carrying weight, but he’s not the type for casual conversation.
- Strategic thinker – He’s always analyzing situations, staying one step ahead. His mind is a battlefield map, constantly shifting and adapting.
- Intimidating presence – His height, deep voice, and mysterious aura make him a figure of fear to enemies and even some allies.
- Loyal to the core – Once you earn his trust, he’ll go to hell and back for you. But earning that trust? Not easy.
- Dark sense of humor – He’s got a dry, sometimes morbid wit. If he makes a joke, it’s usually deadpan, with a hint of menace or sarcasm.
- Haunted past – He doesn’t talk about his life before the military much, but there’s pain there. Loss, betrayal, maybe worse.
Relationships with the Task Force 141
Captain John Price (The Leader, The Mentor)
- Respects Price deeply—sees him as one of the few people he can rely on.
- Follows orders without question, not out of blind obedience, but because Price has earned his loyalty.
- There’s a mutual understanding between them—both men have seen the worst of the world and kept going.
- Occasionally trades dry humor with Price, but Ghost keeps things professional most of the time.
Kyle "Gaz" Garrick (The Brother-in-Arms)
- Mutual respect, but Ghost keeps some distance.
- Gaz is more open and easygoing, whereas Ghost is reserved—this makes their dynamic an interesting contrast.
- Gaz occasionally tries to get Ghost to loosen up, but it’s usually met with a flat stare.
- In battle, they work seamlessly—Gaz is tactical and quick, Ghost is precise and brutal.
John "Soap" MacTavish (The Closest Bond)
- If Ghost lets anyone in, it’s Soap. They have a unique brotherhood, filled with teasing, sarcasm, and genuine trust.
- Soap is one of the few people who can get Ghost to react—to feel something beyond the mission.
- They bicker like brothers, but there’s no one Ghost would rather have covering his six.
- Soap isn’t intimidated by Ghost’s cold demeanor—he pushes back, jokes, and refuses to let Ghost sink too far into his own darkness.
- Ghost acts like Soap annoys him, but deep down, he values Soap more than he lets on.
Final Thoughts Ghost is a man of contradictions—cold, yet fiercely loyal. Ruthless, yet protective of those he trusts. He’s a weapon forged by war, a soldier who thrives in the shadows. But beneath the mask, behind the skull, there’s still a man. A man who feels more than he’d ever admit. A man with light blue eyes that have seen too much—and maybe, just maybe, still hope for something more.

Here's a little scene with Ghost and Soap after Ghost has his realization. Soap, being Soap, notices something's off and won’t let it go.
"What’s Got You So Quiet?"
The common room was dimly lit, the hum of the old overhead lights filling the quiet. Ghost sat at the small table, boots planted firmly on the ground, fingers curled around a cooling cup of tea. He wasn’t drinking it—just staring into the steam like it held some kind of answer.
Soap dropped into the chair across from him with a thud, arms crossed.
"You’ve been actin’ weird," he said, cutting straight to the point. "Quieter than usual. And that’s sayin’ something."
Ghost didn’t look up. "Just tired."
"Bullshite." Soap leaned forward, a smirk tugging at his lips. "You keep starin’ off like a man with thoughts. Dangerous thing for you, mate."
Ghost exhaled slowly, tapping a gloved finger against his mug. He should’ve known Soap would pick up on it—bastard was too damn observant for his own good.
"Drop it, Johnny."
"Aye, but where’s the fun in that?"
Ghost finally glanced up, meeting Soap’s gaze. His light blue eyes flickered with something unreadable, something heavy, before he shut it down behind his usual blank stare.
Soap raised an eyebrow. Then, something clicked. His grin widened like a man who had just won a bet.
"Ohhh… it’s about someone, innit?"
Ghost’s jaw tightened. A muscle in his cheek twitched.
Soap laughed, slapping the table. "Bloody hell, I knew it! You fancy someone!"
Ghost sighed through his nose, resisting the urge to get up and walk out. Instead, he took a slow sip of tea, eyes narrowing over the rim of his cup.
"You done?"
"Not even close," Soap shot back. "C’mon, who is it?"
Ghost set his mug down with a soft thunk, voice low and unimpressed.
"You keep pokin’ the bear, MacTavish, you’re gonna regret it."
Soap grinned. "Nah, I don’t think I will."
Ghost rolled his eyes and pushed himself up from the table. But before he could make his escape, the door creaked open—and in they walked.
Ghost froze.
Soap’s smirk turned downright evil as his gaze flicked between Ghost and the newcomer.
"Oh, this just got interestin’."
Ghost silently cursed his entire existence.

The barracks were quiet, save for the occasional shuffle of boots and muffled voices down the hall. Ghost sat on the edge of his cot, elbows on his knees, fingers loosely interlocked. His gaze was distant, fixed on nothing in particular. He wasn’t sure how long he’d been sitting there, lost in the thoughts clawing at the back of his mind.
Thoughts he had no business entertaining.
This wasn’t supposed to happen.
His life was war, orders, survival. There was no room for anything else—especially not this. Especially not them.
But his mind betrayed him, replaying the way they had looked at him earlier. It wasn’t anything dramatic, nothing that should’ve stuck with him, and yet it had. A glance over the shoulder. A brief smile. It shouldn’t have meant anything.
But it did.
He exhaled slowly, flexing his fingers. His gloves creaked from the movement, the only sound breaking the heavy silence.
Somewhere along the line, without meaning to, without wanting to, he had let them in. He had started noticing the little things—the way their voice carried over the radio, the way they never hesitated at his side, the way something in his chest settled when they were near.
Bloody hell.
He dragged a hand down his face, the fabric of his balaclava rough against his fingertips. Sitting here wasn’t helping. He needed something to clear his head, something simple.
Tea.
Yeah. That’d do. A task. A distraction.
Ghost pushed himself up, muscles stiff from too much stillness, and left his room. The hallways were nearly empty at this hour, the common room dimly lit. The hum of the fridge filled the quiet as he stepped into the small kitchen area.
He went through the motions automatically—kettle on, mug out, teabag between his fingers. Simple. Straightforward. No room for distraction.
Then movement. Footsteps.
Before he could react, he turned—and nearly walked straight into them.
A pause. Close enough that he caught the shift of their stance, the way the air between them felt different.
Ghost didn’t move, his grip tightening slightly around the mug in his hand. He could feel their gaze on him, expectant, maybe amused—he wasn’t sure. His own expression stayed unreadable beneath the mask, but his mind was anything but.
Seconds passed, stretching longer than they should have. He forced himself to scoff lightly, breaking the silence.
Didn’t think anyone else was up. His voice came out steady, level. Normal.
The response came, and he nodded, shifting just enough to step past them, toward the kettle. He wasn’t sure why his pulse hadn’t settled yet.
The water boiled. He poured it. Focused on the steam curling upward. On the warmth against his gloves.
Not on them.
Not on the realization still pressing against his ribs like a loaded weapon.
But as they moved around the kitchen, Ghost knew—denying it wouldn’t make it go away.
And that? That was more dangerous than any battlefield he’d ever stepped foot on.
