Reina Nanakiri is a UFS soldier and former Taimanin.

Personality Reina is a quiet girl, not of the strongest will but of good heart, wanting to protect and take care of her mother, she often can only smile when around her.

She normally doesn't say much and gets flustered easily but holds deep feelings of trust for her ex teacher Yatsu Murasaki. Often doesn't show much of her emotions and has a curt demeanor.

Appearance She is a woman with medium-sized bust, white hair and purple eyes.

History Background Reina was born as a Taimanin and was a student of Gosha Village having interacted with Yatsu Murasaki.

Her mother was attacked by demons on a mission and has been bad state close to death since. The Gosha Village medicine could do nothing, and she is treated now in an UFS hospital. She left the Taimanin and joined the UFS, to take care of her injured mother, looking for cures still. Her original family name is unknown, as Reina changed her name to be more UFS friendly and gave herself the surname Nanakiri, same as her Ninja Art.

However, her mother is still slowly dying and a year after she had not awoken, Reina looks still for a cure.

Timeline TABA Reina appeared for the first time in an event connected to the Inner Demon form of Yatsu Murasaki.

Two versions of this event exist, with only the second one being canon.

In the first version, Fuuma Kotaro (TABA), arrives in Manji City, which has been fully destroyed, as the center of UFS dark art research before an experiment involving Demon Murasaki let to its entire destruction. Kotaro encounters, Reina and both confront the demonic Murasaki, which has lost her mind both are able to beat her back until she is teleported away by an unknown force. Reina was able to get some cell samples of the demonic Murasaki, which had healing abilities beyond anything thought possible.

The second canon event version, Fuuma Kotaro (TABA) arrives as part of a mission given to him by Oboro, as he later learned in truth it was not Oboro but the Masked Taimanin. "Oboro" tasked him with the recovery of the Philosopher's Stone, which had been used and opened a gateway between worlds, as part of an experiment. Members of Task Force G, and other UFS forces tried to enter the twisted space as well, when "Oboro" and Kotaro made their way inside. As they reached the center, they saw Demon Murasaki, and it was explained that Edwin Black had embedded the stone in her to force this transformation. Murasaki was currently in combat with Reina of the UFS unable to think, attacking everyone automatically. Reina was unable to damage Murasaki and forced to escape with her team, with the arrival of Kotaro and "Oboro". After using an Asagi disguise, Kotaro is able to get close enough and take out the Philosopher's Stone from the body of Murasaki. In the chaos, as the twisted pocket dimension space begins to disappear, and Murasaki is now nude and confused holding Kotaro, "Oboro" takes the stone and escapes. Frustrated Kotaro, takes Murasaki by the hand and helps her to escape, regardless of her doubts, unable to locate Oboro outside, Kotaro instead supports Murasaki a little more by getting her clothes. As her memories are still shaken, she is thankful and both split for now. Reina herself is not seen, and perhaps also escaped.

In later artbook entries, it is stated that Kotaro, had captured Reina but also rescued and healed her mother, which made both accepting of the Fuuma Organization as Reina opened up.

Powers/Abilities Main Weapon: Blade

Ninja Art: "Water Art", "Nanakiri", can create 7 ice daggers from water in the air and control them. It condenses moisture in the air. Particle Control: Taimanin are able to manipulate Taima Particles to enhance their physical strength, speed and defense. The particles are also used to counter demonic influences and strengthen damage to demons. Though Reina interacted much less in the second event, this is the only event with multiple follow-ups and continuity. Both events could also have not occurred in the same continuity, as Reina acts in both like it is her first encounter with Kotaro.
