Personality Headstrong and reliable, very caring towards everyone, known as the most kind-hearted member of the group of survivors. Typically, a pacifist, which struggles to view "them (Zombies)" no longer as people. Despite being kind, she can speak her mind against her friend if she believes they did wrong.

Has a bit of a perverted side, but shows this only in rare cases, gets extremely jealous, when Saeko gets near Takashi. She is otherwise a straight-A student but was held back one year for an unknown reason. Rei has held deep affection for Takashi since they were in kindergarten and has always liked him, even promising to marry him when they were kids. However, him ignoring her after she was held back in school caused Rei to believe that he had abandoned her and got a new boyfriend for some time in Hisashi. After, Hisashi died in the first hours of the zombie outbreak, both came back together, but she gets angry if Takashi suggests he is a replacement.

She views Saeko as a love rival, but both are friends first.

Appearance Rei has waist-length orange-brown hair that is tied in a single small ponytail on the back of her head while she leaves the rest of her hair down with bangs hanging over her face while she has two strands sticking out above the rest of her hair, reddish-brown eyes, and she has a slender figure with ample breasts.

History Background Rei is the daughter of Tadashi Miyamoto and Kiriko Miyamoto.

When she was in kindergarten with Takashi Komuro, she made a pinky promise with him that, when they grow up, they will marry each other. Despite always harboring a deep affection for Takashi, his constant reluctance caused her to give up on him and date Hisashi Igou (one of Takashi's friends). Although she was dating Hisashi, she never got over Takashi and still always liked him, despite their friendship appearing totally ruined by their friends. Although Rei is supposed to be a senior along with Saeko Busujima, Rei was held back a year since her father was the police officer in charge of investigating her teacher's father. That teacher is known as Koichi Shido, who is cruel and ruthless. As some sort of revenge for having his father investigated by Rei's father, he forced her to repeat the whole year. Since then, she has held a grudge against him.

Rei is in a relationship with Hisashi Igou where she has seemingly given up on hopes of being with Takashi Komuro. When the zombie apocalypse breaks out, she escapes to the rooftop of their school with them both. On the way, she is attacked by a teacher and both guys try to help her, but Hisashi is bitten as a result. At the rooftop, Hisashi dies and turns into a zombie and Takashi kills him, despite Rei's pleas. She blames Takashi for killing him and says that he must have liked to do so because she thought he would hate Hisashi since he was her boyfriend. After hearing such a statement, Takashi attempts to leave their barricade and go fight some zombies. Only until Rei implores him not to go and tells him that she wants him to stay with her, he changes his mind, embracing Rei in an intimate hug which seemingly rekindled their friendship/relationship. Later, they gather with other students at a faculty room and plan their escape from the school. As they escape with the school bus, it is decided to split from the corrupt teacher, and follow a smaller group under Takashi, together with Busujima Saeko and Takagi Saya, the school nurse and another student.

Timeline RPGX A second year student at Fujimi Academy.

She was a childhood friend of Takashi's by one year, but he ended up being his classmate after she was caught up in an incident involving her father, a detective, and had to repeat a grade. She has outstanding spearmanship skills, having been trained by her father, who competed in the national bayonet fencing championships, and despite her appearance, she has high individual combat ability.

Together with, Busujima Saeko and Takagi Saya, the group was separated from the rest of the group, as a giant Otherworld Gate opened and pulled them in from their zombie filled world. They ended in the Taimanin realm unconscious, and were forced to survive on their own as the undead of their own world began to infect the people of the mid-sized city, Hieda. The town was isolated for at least a month, before the higher ups had countermeasures and sent in Fuuma Kotaro, Izumo Tsuru and Koukawa Asuka. Asuka was captured by Anarchists within the city, and Rei and Saya were sent out to save her, saving her and recovering the bomb needed to destroy the gate. The group was unable to return through the gate because of the Gatekeeper, a Brain Flayer weapon. However, as the Taimanin also were unable to use all their abilities because of a Tesserac-like substance in the atmosphere, which also allowed beings from that otherworld to remain indefinitely, the group of survivors used a stolen AQ-3 Iron Ghost and attacked the strong Gatekeeper. In the end, thanks to Kotaro the power source of the guardian was destroyed and Rei and the others returned to their own world, also to meet up with the people they cared about regardless of the state of their own world.
