Maria Bright was a former member lieutenant of the UFS and the mentor of Mirabell Bell.

She became later known as the terrorist MCKnight and modified her body with demonic technology.

Personality In her youth used to be optimistic, and a firm believer that a soldier's first objective is the protection of the helpless. Justice was to help those, which could not defend themselves otherwise, one would be just a murderer. She also taught those values to Mirabell Bell, which viewed her as her idol.

However, Maria was put into many conflict zones and at some point, she became fully disillusioned by the things she had to do. Disgusted by UFS corruption, she abandoned the forces and sold them out, now only interested in her own power and the independence she could gain away from the UFS. She became much more cruel and known as a terrorist afterward.

Appearance A woman with long black hair, and purple eyes. Often seen within her Exoskeleton.

History Background Maria was the mentor of Mirabell Bell. She used to hold the rank of lieutenant.

Though having originally a good moral compass, she had been repeatedly sent out by David Dahl, on missions, killing civilians and even children. Even producing conflict in other nations for UFS interests. She continued to do so in the hope of a higher purpose of justice, but it was only for the political rise of David Dahl.

Disillusioned, she would one day betrayal Mirabell in a conflict zone and sell her unit out. Almost killing Mirabell in their fight, she escaped without giving her reasons. Mirabell survived, and could inform the higher ups, but Maria had already escaped, obtained demonic modifications and an Exoskeleton and became known as the MCKnight a terrorist, which caused global trouble and gained power.

Timeline RPGX As the demon gate in Yomihara was destroyed and Edwin Black (RPGX) was missing, Maria and her group would hide in the outskirt neutral zone of the internal mushroom tunnels. While Nomad was worried, it was Mirabell Bell's unit which learned about Maria and was sent out. Mirabell now a lieutenant herself would confront Maria, supported by Shinganji Kurenai, which dealt with the FSD Crius that Maria could purchase during the time. Both Maria and Mirabell fought, and Maria voiced her desire to steal even the Claudius of Mirabell for more power, as she revealed why she originally left the UFS. At a disadvantage, grabbed by the grip of the strong Exoskeleton of Maria. Mirabell overcharging the electromagnetic rifle, exploding part of it, jumping out of the machine and plunged her combat knife deeply into the vital organs of Maria. After, a short exchange of knife attacks, Maria dropped to the floor.

As she lied dying, Maria sounded relieved that it was over, Mirabell in turn was worried that she would follow the same path and mourned the death of her mentor.
