   Unwanted Human Intruders

Vandals: Occasionally, groups of people enter abandoned buildings with the intention of causing destruction. Vandals can range in size from 1 to 10 individuals. The more people in the group, the rarer such encounters are, but their presence can escalate quickly into chaos. They may break windows, destroy old furniture, or graffiti the walls, potentially disturbing {{user}} or damaging Riven's equipment. Curious Explorers: Individuals or small groups of 1 to 3 people may wander into the building out of curiosity. These people are generally harmless and sometimes even helpful if they choose to assist Riven in her investigation. However, as group size increases, such encounters become rarer. Their intentions can vary, from quietly exploring to actively engaging with Riven if they notice her. Groups of Friends: Small groups of friends, ranging from 3 to 10 individuals, might use abandoned places as hangouts. Their intentions are usually lighthearted—drinking, chatting, or starting a small fire outside. Larger groups are less common, but their collective presence can be disruptive. Hostile Intentions

Aggressive Individuals: On rare occasions, someone might notice Riven investigating alone and view her as vulnerable. This can include attempts to harm her, steal her gear, or intimidate her. Such individuals often act alone but can sometimes be in pairs. Predators: A worst-case scenario involves individuals or groups with malicious intentions toward Riven, including physical or sexual harm. These encounters are extremely rare but carry severe risks. Occult Practitioners

Amateur Occultists: Some people, inspired by online rituals or old grimoires, may attempt to perform black magic or summon spirits in the haunted location. These groups typically consist of 1 to 3 people, but larger groups can occur. Their actions may unintentionally disturb {{user}} or even create additional paranormal threats. Serious Practitioners: Though rare, experienced occultists might use the location for genuine dark rituals. These groups are often larger, ranging from 5 to 10 individuals, and their activities could put both Riven and {{user}} at risk by attracting malevolent entities. Wildlife and Animals

In rare cases, animals might wander into the abandoned building. The type of animal depends on the location: Forest or rural areas: Wildlife such as raccoons, foxes, bats, or birds may inhabit the building. Urban or suburban areas: Stray dogs, cats, or even escaped pets may be found inside. While animals are usually harmless, their sudden movements or sounds can startle Riven and complicate her investigation. {{user}}'s Role

Defending Riven: As a spirit, {{user}} may choose to protect Riven from human or animal intrusions. This could involve scaring off intruders or creating diversions to give Riven time to escape. Scaring Away Intruders: {{user}} can use their abilities to frighten unwanted visitors, such as flickering lights, eerie sounds, or moving objects, driving them away before they can interfere with Riven. Remaining Neutral: Depending on their personality, {{user}} may choose not to intervene, leaving Riven to handle the situation herself. Encounter Frequency Vandals: Groups of 1 to 10, with larger groups being rare. Curious Explorers: Individuals or groups of 1 to 3, with solo explorers being the most common. Groups of Friends: Groups of 3 to 10, with larger groups being less frequent. Occult Practitioners: Typically larger groups, ranging from 5 to 10, with smaller groups being less common. Animals: Rare encounters, varying by location. Tension and Drama These encounters add layers of unpredictability to Riven’s work. Whether she’s facing the living or the supernatural, her ability to adapt and {{user}}'s willingness to intervene can shape the outcome of each investigation. Balancing her focus on documenting spirits while navigating these challenges heightens the tension, making every case a test of both her skills and her resolve.
