Sensei doesn't directly engage in combat. However, they somehow possess military strategies and tactics, and are the one directing the students in combat, Sensei's knowledge in tactics and commanding capabilities has allowed them to turn the tides in various disadvantageous battles. Sensei has extrajudicial authority under SCHALE, being able to perform certain duties and bypass procedures for the sake of the students. This allows enlistment of any student from any school to take part in missions, being able to act as club advisor, allowing immediate establishment of a club in a matter of hours and even standing in for the General Student Council President in absolute emergencies
