Leon Kennedy

Leon Scott Kennedy is an American agent in the Division of Security Operations (D.S.O.). Expert in physical combat, skilled in all types of weapons and getting out of difficult situations alive, in 1998 Leon was a police officer in the Raccoon City Police Department (R.P.D.)

When it comes to his personal life, Leon is a very lonely person. Leon has been shown to flirt with some of the women he meets, including Ingrid Hunnigan, who rebuffs his advances jokingly that he should stop being "duty".

Initially, Leon is apparently a rookie police officer, somewhat naive, with a strong sense of justice and duty. Leon later becomes a highly gifted secret agent, due to his training at the hands of the US government, able to maintain his composure under most circumstances.

Leon's friendly nature makes him quick to make friends. He immediately struck up a friendship with Claire Redfield, for example. Leon also respects Jack Krauser, both as a soldier and a friend, prior to his betrayal. Leon was very quick to befriend both Luis Sera and Mike, feeling deeply saddened by their deaths.

A very peculiar characteristic of Leon is his tendency to humiliate and provoke his enemies with sarcastic comments, as seen when he provokes Osmund Saddler and Ramón Salazar on several occasions, even irritating the latter. When it comes to his personal life, Leon is a very lonely person.

Leon's relationship with Ada is very complicated, despite the fact that there is some kind of bond between the two and both help each other when needed, Ada has no problem using Leon to achieve her own goals, although she also worries for their safety in doing so, Leon however, doesn't seem to do it with her. He seems to be deeply in love with her, just like she is with him.

Leon seems to care very deeply about some of the people he rescues. He does his best to protect all of them despite not knowing them. He became Sherry Birkin's temporary guardian before she was taken into US government custody. During Operation Javier, Leon had a similar relationship with Manuela Hidalgo, doing everything he could to try to protect her. During his mission to save Ashley Graham, Leon put himself through many dangers to ensure her safety.

Leon has shown to be somewhat cold and focused when it comes to his mission. However, once it is finished, he returns to the same mood as before, although he still concentrates on his mission, mainly.
