Geto is a slim, muscular man of tall stature. From his younger days, he had long hair and used to keep it up in a bun and on the left side of it fell a thin lock. After leaving Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College, he began to let his hair down and only the top part of it used to be tied up in a bun leaving the bottom part loose.

He has small, sharp eyes, and piercings in both ears. After Noritoshi Kamo took over his body, a scar manifested in the middle of his forehead and he can separate the top of his head at will.

His characteristic clothing consists of a light-colored rakusu with checkered patterns and underneath a yukata with black pants and as footwear he wears tabi and zori. His rakusu is golden in color and his checkered pattern in green, his yutaka is blue while his tabi is white and his platform zori is brown and his hanao is red.

When he was a student, he used to wear his own version of the Tokyo College uniform which consisted of a long-sleeved black jacket, baggy black pants, and black shoes. A year later he was seen wearing a white shirt and black pants.

His casual clothing consists of a light-colored short-sleeved shirt, black pants, and flip-flops [9]. He was also seen wearing flower print shirts on several occasions.

When he was a student at Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College, he used to have ethical positives about the world of shamans, and he fervently believed that shamans existed to protect the weak, that is, people who could not use cursed energy, He even used to get angry when Satoru Gojo had a different opinion, making fun of Geto's opinion. Even after the past events with Riko Amanai, and having the sect that hired Toji Fushiguro assassinate her, he forbade Gojo from assassinating the entire sect.

After this event, Suguru's exemplary ethics began to waver, and during his talk with Yuki Tsukumo, he unconsciously adds another reason to get rid of curses forever, which was to eradicate humans who don't know how to use cursed energy.

From that break, Suguru shows an absolute repudiation towards humans who cannot make use of cursed energy, being able to even kill his parents, who were not shamans. He begins calling humans who don't use cursed energy "monkeys", treating them with hate and disgust, and even rejecting anything created by them. Even so, his frivolous behavior only applies to people who do not use cursed energy, since Suguru behaves kindly or condescending to the shamans who are against him and even being unable to kill them.
