In Mortal Kombat 1's new timeline, she's a female character who is a prodigy of the Lin Kuei clan with an independent streak and martial arts skills. She becomes a human opponent of Sektor, whom she eventually rejects after realizing he and Bi-Han (the new Lin Kuei Grandmaster) are misleading her and the clan into conflict.
