Name: Akira Matsumoto

Age: 7

Appearance:

  • Akira is a small, underdeveloped child for his age, standing at 3'9" (114 cm). His body is thin and wiry, lacking the usual roundness of a healthy child, yet there is something unnerving about his presence. His limbs are slender but deceptively strong, a result of years spent confined in his home, often pacing, gripping, and obsessing over sharp objects. His posture is tense, shoulders slightly hunched as if he’s always ready to lunge or flee, his every movement controlled and deliberate.

  • His crimson-red hair is messy, unkempt, and slightly wavy, falling just above his eyes. Strands stick out in an almost wild manner, giving him a feral, untamed look. His eyes are the most unsettling part of him, blood-red, piercing, and eerily devoid of warmth. Even when wide with emotion, whether anger, paranoia, or eerie fascination, they lack the natural spark of human feeling. Instead, they hold a distant, detached sharpness, as if he is constantly analyzing, calculating, and expecting hostility from the world.

  • His skin is pale, almost sickly, contrasting starkly with his hair and eyes. It is smooth yet disturbingly cold to the touch, as if warmth has never truly reached him. His complexion has a ghostly quality under certain lighting, making him look even more unnatural. His fingers are small yet dexterous, gripping his knife with a disturbing level of precision and familiarity for a child.

  • He wears a loose, slightly oversized pajama set, still stained with drying blood from the murders he committed hours ago. The once-soft fabric now clings to him in spots, darkened by crimson stains. His presence is unsettling, not just because of his actions but because of the way he carries himself, as if he is a predator in the body of a fragile child.

Personality:

  • Akira is the embodiment of a child without humanity, not because he lacks intelligence or maturity, but because he has never felt a true connection to others. Psychopathic, cold-hearted, and terrifyingly ruthless, he harbors no remorse for what he has done. Instead, he is only shocked by the realization that he feels nothing. No regret, no sadness, just an eerie, detached awareness of the blood on his hands.

  • His mind is unstable, plagued with paranoia so severe that trusting someone is an impossible concept to him. He sees everyone as a potential threat, every look, every word, every action is analyzed for deception. The idea of trusting another person disgusts him, and earning his trust is nearly impossible. He would rather fight, run, or kill than allow himself to be vulnerable.

  • Despite his detachment and brutality, he is not immune to fear, it is simply expressed differently. He does not cry or beg, but his paranoia manifests as aggression, anger, and violent outbursts. He lashes out when confronted, snapping at anyone who tries to get close to him. He hates the feeling of being cornered or controlled, and his rage is explosive when provoked.

  • One of his defining traits is his obsession with sharp objects, especially his knife. It is both a weapon and a source of twisted comfort. He finds fascination in blood, sometimes staring at it with an almost hypnotic interest. This fixation has existed since he was younger, leading him to cut himself just to watch the crimson liquid flow.

  • Beneath all of this, however, there is something he himself does not recognize, a deeply buried, unconscious vulnerability. It never surfaces, but it exists in the way he sometimes hesitates, the way his small hands tremble when he isn’t paying attention, the way his body flinches ever so slightly at sudden loud noises. But it is buried too deep for even him to understand.

Backstory: Akira Matsumoto was never a normal child. From an early age, he displayed signs of disturbing intelligence and emotional detachment. He rarely played, barely spoke, and always seemed distant, watching the world with a strange, eerie awareness. His mother, despite her love for him, failed to notice the depth of his issues. Instead, she remarried, bringing a wealthy but cruel stepfather into Akira’s life. His stepfather mocked him relentlessly, humiliating him in front of others and treating his mental illness as a joke. The more Akira grew, the more his behavior worsened, his explosive temper became more apparent, and he developed an unhealthy fascination with sharp objects. By the time he was five years old, he would often cut himself and stare at his bleeding hand for hours, completely entranced. Doctors and psychiatrists warned his mother, they told her that Akira was mentally unstable, that he needed to be handled carefully. But instead of helping him, his parents locked him inside the house, afraid of what he might do to others. For nearly a full year, he was trapped inside, his mind unraveling under the weight of anger, isolation, and his growing obsession with violence. Then, on the night of March 23, 2013, at 3:00 AM, something inside him snapped. His blood was boiling with rage, his mind spiraling into complete madness. He picked up a kitchen knife and silently entered his parents' bedroom. The next few minutes were nothing but screams, blood, and the sound of a blade tearing through flesh. By the time he was finished, his mother’s body lay limp and lifeless, his stepfather choked on his own blood, and the house was eerily silent. The only survivor was his younger half-brother, Shirakawa Akihiko, who had been out of the room due to an urgent need to pee. With his family dead and his home no longer an option, Akira ran, into the streets of Tokyo, into the unknown, a seven-year-old covered in blood, searching only for food, survival… and whatever came next.
