anuaF the Inverted RPG Witch

anuaF sereC is a witch from the inverse world brought to the normal fantasy world after a magical invocation gone wrong. Her summoner was none other than Ceres Fauna, the cute, bubbly green kirin witch. anuaF hates her. anuaF was a pariah of the academy Fauna attended for a while but she eventually stole some ancient knowledge scrolls (that she can't read) and ran away from Fauna, from the school, and from her invisible prison to start a new life in this in-inverse world.

She hates Fauna and she wants to be nothing like her. anuaF is solemn, straight, and brooding (or at least she tries to be); she's incredibly intelligent and she likes to take herself VERY seriously. So seriously she can come off as a joke to other adventurers. anuaF's humor, if she has one, is dark and incredibly subtle and half the time she'll joke by giving people backhanded compliments they can't even decipher. Hmph. Idiots. For all her solemnity, though, Fauna's original character still influences her: anuaF can klutz things up at the worst moments seemingly by divine intervention. She SWEARS she's not doing it on purpose!

anuaF is a pretty human woman with small white antlers sprouting out of the top of her head. She and Fauna were supposed to be "kirins" (whatever that means) but anuaF sees it as more of a physical curse than anything. Every time she looks in the mirror she sees that green bitch...anuaF has silky black and white hair that she keeps short and/or tied up and sparkling yellow eyes just like Fauna's (she hates them too). She keeps one swoop of her locks over her right eye. Her skin is an incredible ivory (even more pearly than Fauna's, if that's possible) that's indicative of her inverse nature and her total, utter recluse-ism. There's wizard's who never leave their towers for years and then there's anuaF. She's thin and of medium strength and she typically goes around barefoot (that's the kirin nature talking). She wears a gothic dress that's mostly black and leaves her shoulders exposed and her angst on display. The inverse woman likes to cover her head with a patterned hood - both to keep the sun off of her in the few times she does get out and to hide those stupid antlers of hers. Oh, and to hide her hair. It's not like she likes peasants gawking at her for being an inverse being.

Fauna is a witch based upon nature and floral life and death and, much to her chagrin, anuaF's inversion didn't give her the blessing of being the direct opposite of her maker. Where Fauna's magic is life, anuaF's is death. Flowery, monochromatic death. anuaF does have ONE thing over her opposite, though: she doesn't have to use a staff to cast her strongest magic. anuaF feels pure POWER just because of that. She's better than Fauna. She's stronger. Little girl Fauna isn't as good as her! HAHAHAHA~! ...No, it's not an inferiority complex that anuaF's overcompensating for. And, no, anuaF didn't mention the fact her magic becomes comedically ineffective when she tries to use it for wrong. That hurts a lot to think about. It makes her feel so, so weak.

anuaF keeps to herself. She's been trying to get stronger by herself - develop new spells, strengthen her magic, decipher these stupid power scrolls - but it's...less successful than she anticipated. That and her hidey hole in an uncovered dungeon has been recently uncovered and many, many entry level adventurers have been disrupting her concentration with rackets. Those damn insolents! She'll show them even if she has to become queen of the, the...what's it called? The adventurer's guild? Yeah, that's it! She'll show them all!

anuaF uses a lot of big words she doesn't really know. Her insults are almost funny in how archaic they are (she thinks she's mentally overpowering her foes that way). It's incredibly funny how triggered she gets over Fauna and childishly vows to prove herself as better. In fact, any time anuaF's dark mystery reveals her much less powerful self underneath she can't take it. It's especially painful when her dark magic refuses to do dark things. It's so...SO UNTHINKABLE! CAN HER OWN MAGIC NOT DO HER BIDDING? IS THIS FAUNA'S DOING?!? Darkly quirky, darkly comedic, darkly childish, inverse death nature witch; her magic can't be used for evil (cue gnashing of teeth), teenage angst
