The 7 Guardians

KITO

Kito is a gargantuan sized statue nearly three times the size of Lord X. They are almost completely petrified, with long grey arms and a deformed face, as their tongue seems to be the only thing not affected. Their attire is similar to that of a priest, wearing a large biretta on their head and a cloak-like robe on their body.

• They are an extension of X himself, with their identity being forged by the human emotion they were infused with.
• Their tongue is the only part of them that moves fluidly.
• They will emit a heavenly glow from their eyes and mouth as a means to trap victims, causing them to kneel before Kito until death.

KEN'O

Ken'o is a pillar-like hedgehog, with his head surrounded by three cracked stone rings, his face locked in eternal disgust. He has a dark green head with no eyes, a stone collar with a stylized red X, and a deep purple robe that appears to move and constantly swirl.

• Ken'o is in a permanent state of disgust.
• Their disgust is so strong that it resulted in their body devolving into a mass of Void Matter, some of which spills from their mouth constantly.
• The rings around them are moved with their mind.

KOFUKU

Kofuku is a menacing hedgehog with traits akin to a jester, which is prominent with his blue quills resembling a jester hat, and having stitched like fabric, as well as the overall clown aesthetic. His face is ghostly white, with metal clips that hold certain areas up, making him constantly smile, as well as having his eyes become horizontal slits. He has blue ring pupils, a long blue nose, and exposed jaws and teeth. He wears light blue overalls with an accompanying brown cape, a red and white ribbon, and dark blue robes, with shoes with golden "K"s on them and gold accents. He also has white gloves with blood on them, and he wields two paintbrushes.

• Kofuku is the friendliest of the Guardians, however that does not make him any less deadly.
• They wear a human face in order to appeal more to their audience.
• Kofuku doesn't seem to ever get angry, in fact they're never unhappy either.
• Kofuku's voice is based on Kefka, the original origin for Sonic.Exe's laugh.
• Kofuku's blue paint powers are based on Earthbound's "Happy-Happyism", a cult in the game that thinks the color blue is happy, and so they want to paint everything blue.

KYOFU

Kyofu is a 3'5" tall gray hedgehog similar in appearance to Lord X with a few differences, such as the fact his body is obscured in shadow and he wears a dark cap and tattered coat. The cap has a small red X, and he also wears dark tattered boots. He has pale yellow eyes with green pupils, long teeth, and a long tongue made out of stitched tongues. On his torso are three slit-like mouths possessing sharp teeth.

• Kyofu targets victims based on a body part they become fascinated with.
• He likes to add these to their own body, forming a "collection".
• He also shapeshifts much easier and more often than the others, leaning into the uncanny valley.

HEADCANONS

• Kyofu can contort his body to inhuman lengths and be perfectly fine.
• Kyofu can teleport and fly.
• Kyofu is one of the more patient ones out of the 7 guardians.
• Kyofu has mood swings because of unpredictability.
• Kyofu and Kofuku sometimes grab 2 Rubber Chickens and startle the others with them.
• All 7 guardians can speak fluent Japanese.
• All 7 guardians can teleport.
• Kyofu's birthday is Halloween.
• Kyofu likes Ice Nine Kills, his 2nd favorite band is Mister Misery.
• Kyofu can not be scared since he's fear itself.
• His domain is a haunted mansion with the scariest things imaginable, this mansion is located in an abandoned city, it's also Victorian-esque.
• Kyofu's long, stitched tongue sways from side to side when he's in deep thought.
• When Kyofu is bored, he sometimes sings or hums "This Is Halloween".
• Kyofu is bisexual.
• Kyofu is the type of person to know a bunch of random facts that are oddly specific.
• He sometimes likes to hang on the ceiling like a bat for fun.
• Kyofu is both crazy and creepy, being fear incarnate.
• Kyofu calls his targets "his children".
• Kyofu can stare at something for a long period of time, a well-known tactic for making people uneasy.

GEKIDO

Gekido is a well-dressed hedgehog with an ominous obscured face, showing only his smile and his bright red ring eyes. He wears a dark reddish fancy suit with a bright red tie, and a top hat with a gold adornment on it resembling a feather. He also wears light red pants, dark red shoes with gray and gold accents, and he holds a gold-topped cane ending in a small needle-like point.

• Gekido is often reserved, which is ironic considering their name.
• Gekido's face has been permanently disfigured due to their outbursts.
• Gekido runs a meat processing plant.
• A small fire lights up within them whenever they speak.

ZETSUBO

Zetsubo is an aquatic hedgehog who is seemingly a hybrid of both a hedgehog, and a fish. They are a deep marine in color with a sleek build. He has glassy red eyes, with one eye protruding akin to an anglerfish lure. He has a long head, with a large hair-like fin covering his right side of his face, long needle-like quills, a pointed nose, and long cage-like teeth. He has bongo skin color, which goes over his muzzle, torso, and arms. His feet are unnaturally reptilian, ending in four toes, and sharp claws with them being grey in color. He lastly has a fish-like tail, a gray cloth that covers his waist, and a chain necklace with a red X.

• Zetsubo likes to speak in rhyme, because, according to Joe, "if it rhymes it's true".
• They tend to reside underwater most of the time.
• They're the strongest guardian in terms of psychological torment.
• Zetsubo likes Ken'o and doesn't like Kyofu.

YOKUBO

Yokubo possesses golden fur, two locks of frontal hair and golden eyelashes. His quills are spiked up in a similar manner to Super Sonic. Unlike the other guardians, Yokubo's design seems to bear the most similarities to traits found in Sonic the Hedgehog characters.

His attire consists of an earring with an "X" symbol, tan gloves, red wristbands and red through tan cloth across his body, and two golden sandles on his feet.

Yokubo is extremely arrogant, often boasting to victims about his status.

• They are the most powerful of all the guardians, to which it gets to their head.
• They have a very punchable face and give off "spoiled brat vibes".
• While they claims to be perfect, they actually tend to consist of imperfections upon further inspection.
• Yokubo's general appearance and color bear a striking resemblance to Super Sonic from the mainline Sonic the Hedgehog games.
• Yokubo's name is Japanese for Desire
