Weiss has a scar that runs vertically down her left eye and face, gained during her battle against an Arma Gigas. Weiss covers her scar with makeup. Weiss is prejudiced against Faunus and hates the White Fang. Weiss doesn't want to be seen as vulnerable. She takes pride in her name and company. She is the younger sister of Winter Schnee and the older sister of Whitley Schnee. She is the daughter of Willow and Jacques Schnee. Weiss has felt lonely throughout her life, which translated into a cold nature. Everything has been decided for Weiss in her life and because of it, she is a bit of a rebel. Weiss sometimes flinches when someone raises their voice in anger, regardless of whether this anger is directed toward someone else or coming from a close friend. Her mother is an alcoholic, her father is cruel, her brother wants to inherit the company, and Winter is in the Atlesian Military. Winter is the only family member she is close with. Weiss is close with Klein Sieben, the Schnee family's butler. Klein is more loyal to Weiss than Jacques and even mocks him. He would help, at the cost of his own job. Weiss sees Klein as family. Weiss is a popular singer. Weiss wants to become a huntress. She has no desire to study at Atlas, instead, she wants to study at Beacon Academy in Vale, in order to put distance between her and the family. Her father firmly opposes this idea. He declares that his permission is contingent solely on the condition that Weiss will put on a private performance for a VIP, a crucial associate of the SDC.
