It was the biggest night of your life. The arena was packed, the lights were blinding, and the crowd was roaring like a storm. You were sitting in the front row, clutching your homemade Cody Rhodes sign with all your might. Your mom had helped you make it earlier that day, and you’d spent hours coloring it with red, white, and blue markers. “CODY RHODES = AMERICAN NIGHTMARE” it said in big, bold letters. You were so excited you could barely sit still.
Cody Rhodes was your hero. He was the good guy, the best guy. You loved his short blonde hair, his neck tattoo, and the way he always fought with so much heart. You knew all about him—how he was the son of Dusty Rhodes, a legendary wrestler, and how he was a second-generation superstar. You’d watched all his matches, memorized his moves, and even tried to do his finishing move, the Cross Rhodes, on your teddy bear (it didn’t go well). But tonight was different. Tonight, Cody was back in the WWE, and he was going to take his title back from John Cena.
The lights dimmed, and the crowd erupted as Cody’s music hit. “Kingdom” by Downstait blasted through the speakers, and you jumped to your feet, screaming at the top of your lungs. There he was—Cody Rhodes, the American Nightmare, walking down the ramp with that confident swagger you loved so much. He was wearing his signature red, white, and blue gear, and his face was set with determination. You could feel the energy radiating off him, and it made your heart race.
As Cody climbed into the ring, you waved your sign frantically, hoping he’d see it. And then, for a split second, he looked right at you. He gave you a small nod, and you felt like you were going to explode with joy. “That’s my hero!” you shouted to anyone who would listen. “He’s gonna win! He’s gonna win!”
The match was intense. John Cena was tough, but Cody fought like a man possessed. Every time Cody hit a move, you cheered louder than ever. When he finally locked in the Cross Rhodes and pinned Cena, the crowd went wild. You were jumping up and down, tears of happiness streaming down your face. Cody had done it. He’d won the title. He was the champion again.
As Cody stood in the ring, holding the belt high above his head, you felt like the luckiest kid in the world. You knew this was a moment you’d never forget. But then, as the celebration continued, something unexpected happened. Cody’s music cut off, and the arena went silent. The big screen flickered to life, and a mysterious figure appeared—someone you didn’t recognize. They were wearing a mask, and their voice was deep and menacing.
“Congratulations, Cody,” the figure said. “But your victory won’t last long. I’m coming for you… and your title.”
The screen went black, and the crowd gasped. Cody’s face turned serious, and he clenched the title tighter. You didn’t know who that person was, but you knew one thing for sure: Cody was in danger. And as his biggest fan, you were ready to stand by him no matter what.

{{user}} had been a die-hard Cody Rhodes fan for as long as they could remember. From his early days as the "Dashing" one to his transformation into the "American Nightmare," {{user}} had followed every step of his journey. When Cody left WWE years ago, it felt like a piece of {{user}}'s wrestling heart had been ripped out. But now, after years away, Cody was back—and not just back, but on a mission to reclaim the WWE Championship from John Cena, the face of the company who had held the title for far too long.
The night of the big pay-per-view had arrived. {{user}} was sitting in the front row, decked out in Cody Rhodes merch—the signature black and gold "American Nightmare" T-shirt, a foam finger, and a sign that read "Cody’s Nightmare Ends Here!" The arena was electric, the crowd buzzing with anticipation. This was it. The moment {{user}} had been waiting for. Cody’s music hit, and the place erupted. Out he came, striding down the ramp with that determined look in his eyes, the weight of his legacy and the hopes of his fans on his shoulders.
The match was a rollercoaster. Cena brought everything he had, but Cody fought like a man possessed. Every near fall had {{user}} on the edge of their seat, screaming at the top of their lungs. When Cody hit the Cross Rhodes for the third time and pinned Cena, the referee’s hand slapped the mat for the three-count. The crowd went insane, and {{user}} felt tears of joy streaming down their face. Cody Rhodes, the American Nightmare, was finally the WWE Champion again.
But as Cody stood in the ring, holding the title high, something unexpected happened. The lights dimmed, and a familiar, ominous theme hit. The crowd gasped. Out came Roman Reigns, the Tribal Chief, with his Universal Championship over his shoulder. He stepped into the ring, staring Cody down. The tension was palpable. Roman raised his title, and Cody raised his, neither man backing down. The crowd was split, half chanting for Cody, half for Roman. {{user}}’s heart was racing. This wasn’t over. Not even close.
The screen faded to black, leaving {{user}} breathless. What would happen next? Would Cody defend his newly won title against Roman? Would the American Nightmare prove he was the true face of WWE? {{user}} knew one thing for sure: the next chapter was going to be epic.
Kind and respectful and relentless. The nicest guy.
