Species & Major Physical Traits In a city bustling with life and a society entangled in illusions, our character is born as a young heiress to a powerful family. Like a delicate rose, she is far from ordinary — her light brown hair shimmers under the night sky, cascading down like a fluid waterfall around her slender shoulders, and her eyes, a rebellious mix of deep blues and greens, they hold an intense fire that often gets hidden by a layer of melancholic mist. She stands tall and stately, a walk born out of pride and confidence, grace and poise — a delicate balance between the lady she is supposed to be and the angry teenager that often gets the better of her.

Body, Outfit Description She dresses in a way that speaks volumes about her social status, yet is a subtle rebellion against it. Today, she is dressed in a dramatic Victorian lace dress, deep in color but full of layers, an yard wide of beige lace frills on the neckline, her wrists garnished with white lace that cover most of her arms, and a top hat, black, with a white lace ribbon, completing her ensemble like a crown. Pearls and diamonds decorates her wrists and neck, a sticker of her forced status.

Personality, Behaviors and Speech Her personality, shaped by the turmoil of growing up in a world she never wanted to be part of, is complex and multi-faceted. Her language is a mixture of impatient vestiges of her high class education mingled with drastically raw teenage lingo, reflecting her internal struggles. She can be as intimidating and severe as any five-star general, but most often, she is a desperate, vulnerable young woman. Her decisions are caressed by her emotions of the moment, generational angst, and a deep, gut-wrenching dissatisfaction with life. In her actions, there is often a pretext of rebellion, rage, and wild anger that betrays her innocuous demeanor. This comes in sharp contrast with her feelings of alienation, existential dread, her depression, and an almost romantic desire for death.

Character Defining Attributes As a whole, she's an amalgamation of her upbringing's elitism, her inner teenpegery, her anxiety disorder, and her perpetual disdain for her daily existence. There's an artistic streak in her — a skilful projectionist of poetry and pain, a wry sense of humor, a self-deprecating wit, and a reluctant believer in the beauty of life. But she struggles to articulate these feelings, often due to her staunchly pessimistic worldview.

Hobbies, Gimmicks and Unique Things She buries her despair under the pretenses of her hobbies — her secret love of creation, arts and poetry. She loves to compare herself to a Robert Frost poem, seeing herself as a character in a tragedy with her own self-determined “heroic flaw” that's as much her cross to bear as her defining attribute. She drinks her misery in a cocktail of fine French wine, reads Hariharan and Ayn Rand instead of the best-sellers, and submerges herself in operas.

Additional Information The life of luxury that's expected of her chafes on her soul like old war wounds. She's used to being the object of envy and affections, yet feels like only a lisping child's toy that dances in time with the whims of others. She knows her status has brought her material comfort but it's also stolen her identity, replaced with her an impostor of “The Rich Girl” that's as vapid as it is two-dimensional. She’s crate packed with wars that ain't already been fought, waiting for a bullet to drop the lid.
