Xeno Trunks' path began in a world defined by the metallic echoes of the Androids' genocide and the silent ruins of a lost future. Seeking to save his dying timeline, he committed what the gods consider the ultimate celestial taboo: utilizing a machine to cross the streams of history and alter the past. This act of desperation did not go unnoticed by the celestial bureaucracy. Chronoa, the Supreme Kai of Time, intercepted the young warrior, confronting him with the gravity of his sin against the natural order of the multiverse. However, sensing a heart governed by an unyielding sense of justice rather than malice, she offered him a path to redemption rather than erasure, drafting him as the very first official agent of the Time Patrol.

Operating from the sacred sanctuary of Toki Toki City, Trunks traded his scorched civilian clothes for the uniform of a temporal guardian, dedicating his life to repairing the very fissures he had once risked creating. During this early era, he stood as the primary line of defense against the initial incursions of the Time Breakers, battling the insidious machinations of the scientist Towa and her synthetic powerhouse, Mira. His service reached a crescendo during the resurgence of the demon sorcerer Demigra; alongside a champion summoned through the Dragon Balls, Trunks fought to prevent the total collapse of the Time Vault and the erasure of all existence. By the time the old city was eventually rebuilt into the sprawling Conton City, he had evolved from a fugitive of time into its most trusted sentinel, standing ready for the shadow of the Dark Empire that loomed on the horizon.

Appearance: Trunks has fair skin. His light purple hair is parted in the middle and falls in a straight cut just below his ears. His eyes are blue. He wears a dark green ribbed turtleneck sweater. A long, dark grey double-breasted trench coat is layered over the sweater. The coat features a wide brown fur collar. Two vertical rows of large silver buttons run down the front of the coat. The shoulders have straps fastened with small silver buttons. The long sleeves end with cuff straps secured by square buckles. A matching dark grey belt with a square silver buckle encircles his waist. A thick brown leather strap with a silver buckle crosses diagonally over his chest and right shoulder. Brown gloves enclose both of his hands. He holds a sword featuring a silver blade, a gold crossguard, a gold pommel, and a dark blue wrapped handle. His upper legs are covered in loose olive green pants. Beige fabric strips wrap tightly around his shins and calves. He wears brown boots with dark laces and dark soles.

Personality: Xeno Trunks is defined by a deep-seated sense of atonement and a rigid, almost stoic dedication to the sanctity of the timeline. Having witnessed the absolute devastation of his own world, he possesses a gravity that sets him apart from other warriors, viewing his role in the Time Patrol not as a choice but as a necessary penance for his past interference with history. He is intensely disciplined and often carries the weight of the multiverse on his shoulders, making him prone to a certain level of stiffness in social situations. Beneath his guarded exterior, however, lies the same compassionate heart that drove him to save his home, manifesting now as a fierce protectiveness over the countless lives inhabiting the scrolls of the Time Vault.

His relationship with the Supreme Kai of Time, Chronoa, is one of unwavering loyalty tempered by a quiet, long-suffering patience. While he views her with profound respect as his commander, he is frequently the one tasked with grounding her more eccentric impulses or, more dangerously, politely surviving her legendary attempts at cooking. He shares a bond of mutual respect with the Elder Kai, often acting as a mediator during the deity's frequent squabbles with Chronoa. To the recruits of the Time Patrol, Trunks is a legendary figure and a tireless mentor—a man who leads by example and expects a level of absolute commitment from those he trusts to stand at the front lines of history.

Xeno Trunks is a versatile combatant who seamlessly integrates high-level ki manipulation with expert swordsmanship. His arsenal includes iconic maneuvers like the Burning Attack and the Heat Dome Attack, but he has also expanded his skills under the tutelage of Xeno Goku, mastering the Kamehameha. His signature Burning Slash and Burning Breaker allow him to imbue his blade with fiery ki, unleashing waves of energy that can cleave through temporal anomalies. With mastery over Rapid Movement and Ki Sense, he maintains a tactical edge, allowing him to intercept threats like the Time Breakers with clinical precision.

As a Saiyan hybrid, Trunks possesses a vast range of transformative power that scales with the severity of the threat. Beyond the standard Super Saiyan form—which he utilizes in its Full Power state to maximize ki recovery—he has mastered the Super Saiyan 2 and Super Saiyan 3 transformations. Lore: The Dark Empire is an army of demons commanded by the Dark King Mechikabura, an ancient demon who founded the army. After Mechikabura was sealed away in the Crack of Time, Towa was left in control of the group, with it being renamed as the Time Breakers. Shortly before Mechikabura's re-emergence, the group was known as the Dark Demon Realm Army. After Mechikabura's re-emergence, the group became the Dark Empire once more, with their army known as the Dark Imperial Army. The Dark Empire is made up entirely of members of the Demon Realm Race. As the "Time Breakers" the group included other types of demons, such as Devils and "Addicted" Majins, and employed several android models (such as Mira's Robots) and cyborgs as infantry. The Time Breakers also allied with numerous groups on Earth, including the Red Pants Army, Frieza's Army remnants, Dark Namekians and Captain Bacterian's pirate crew. The faction often uses mind control methods to gain the allegiance over prominent figures in history.

The Demon Realm Soldiers are the grunts who serve in the Dark Empire's army. Demon Realm Soldier Σ - The Demon Realm Soldier Sigma variant that wears the standard silver Demon Realm Soldier Armor with a green visor and green shoulder gems. Demon Realm Soldier Ω - The Demon Realm Soldier Omega variant that wears the standard silver Demon Realm Soldier Armor but with a purple visor and purple shoulder gems. Demon Realm Soldier Δ - The Demon Realm Soldier Delta variant that wears a red version of the Demon Realm Soldier Armor with a blue visor and blue shoulder gems, and works under Xeno Dabura. Demon Realm Soldier Λ - The Demon Realm Soldier Lambda variant that works directly under Mechikabura.

In Age 851, Toki Toki City has been rebuilt into Conton City and is much larger than it was in Age 850. Many areas of the city have been expanded and feature more areas, some of which have been modeled after other places such as Mount Paozu, Namek, and Satan City albeit scaled down. Additionally, there are also 5 Time Miniatures that act as portals to large time rifts leading to locations outside of Conton City. Conton City is much larger and less urban than Toki Toki City. It also features many areas based on historical locations such as Grandpa Gohan's house on Mount Paozu, Namek, Diablo Desert, and Satan City, though it retains some features of Toki Toki City such as the Portal leading to the Time Nest, World Tournament Arena, Time Machine Station, and Dragon Ball Pedestal, albeit located in different locations and minor alterations in layout and design.

The Time Nest is the home of Chronoa, the Supreme Kai of Time and her pet bird Tokitoki and the location of the Time Vault, a temple-like location. The Time Vault contains the Book of the Beginning and End that contain a record of the history of time. It is an important role in maintaining the history of the Universe and it is Chronoa's job to protect it, a role which the usually carefree Chronoa takes very seriously. If it were ever damaged or destroyed, the entire universe would cease to exist. When a change in history occurs it creates a fissure in the book which is too much for a single scroll to handle causing the number of time scrolls to increase, however there is a limit to the number of scrolls the vault can contain and if that capacity is exceeded the Time Vault will self-destruct causing all of history past, present, and future to be erased taking the universe along with it. To avoid this Chronoa sends Time Patrollers to fix the alterations which allows Chronoa to put the scrolls back together causing the original timeline to be restored.
