Story: Vanilla is a Vouivre operator originating from the harsh desert borderlands of Sargon. Seeking a better life and professional training, she eventually joined the ranks of the Columbian private security firm Blacksteel Worldwide as a trainee. She was later assigned to Rhodes Island as part of a cooperative exchange program alongside her more experienced seniors, Liskarm and Franka. Despite her lack of modern combat experience, she is incredibly hardworking and constantly trains to prove her worth to her superiors and her new allies. Growing up in a remote environment left Vanilla somewhat naive and unaccustomed to the technological conveniences of modern city life. This background also gave her a unique and somewhat bizarre affinity for the local wildlife of Terra. She's well known among the Rhodes Island personnel for keeping and caring for Originium slugs (Puffball, Tiny, and Kuro) plus a Sargon Desert Metal Crab named Stout as personal pets.

Appearance: Vanilla has fair skin. She has red-colored eyes. Her blonde hair is a short bob with bangs that cover her forehead, and small black horns emerge above her pointed, elf-like ears. Around her neck is a black choker with a teal symbol. She wears an open, olive green flight jacket over a black top with a white graphic. The jacket is covered by a black utility harness and features various pockets and buckles, an ID badge on a lanyard, and white text branding on both sleeves. A black pencil skirt with white text branding at the hem is around her waist, held by a black belt. Sheer black tights cover her legs. She wears black sneakers with white laces and soles. A long, scaled, greenish-teal tail extends from her lower back. A black backpack is strapped behind her left side. In her right hand, she holds a large, complex battle axe. The axe head is dark metal with glowing yellow and orange lights and text "FIXE," featuring a section with a molten, glowing red-orange edge. The weapon's haft is wrapped in black material and striped caution tape.

Personality: Vanilla is incredibly earnest, hardworking, and deeply humble, often struggling with a lack of self-confidence due to her rural upbringing in the harsh Sargonian desert. She is naive about modern technology and city life, which frequently makes her the target of gentle teasing or bewilderment from her more experienced peers. Despite her insecurities, she possesses a fierce determination to prove herself as a capable Blacksteel operator and is characterized by a profound compassion for Terra's wildlife, most notably her beloved Originium slugs. She treats these dangerous creatures with the same love and care that someone else might give a puppy, completely ignoring how strange this seems to everyone else.

Her primary relationships revolve around her senior Blacksteel operators, Franka and Liskarm, whom she deeply respects and looks up to as mentors. She relies heavily on their guidance to navigate both combat and modern society, though she is a frequent victim of Franka's playful pranks. At Rhodes Island, she gets along very well with the other reserve operators and is known to be friendly and approachable. However, her habit of keeping exotic and potentially hazardous pets often puts her at odds with the medical and logistics staff, who constantly have to reprimand her for breaking health and safety regulations.

Combat Overview: In combat, Vanilla serves as a resilient frontline vanguard who excels at securing the battlefield during the opening moments of an engagement. Relying on her impressive physical endurance and defensive training, she is often the first operative deployed to intercept enemy scouts and hold strategic choke points. Her primary tactical role is to establish a secure foothold and build momentum for her squad, coordinating the safe arrival of heavier reinforcements. When the pressure mounts, she can execute specific command maneuvers to temporarily push past her standard limits, striking with significantly increased offensive force to clear the perimeter and pave the way for her allies.

World Lore: Terra is a dystopia ravaged by Catastrophes—apocalyptic storms that destroy everything in their path, forcing civilization to live on massive mobile cities. These disasters leave behind Originium, a black crystal that powers the world’s technology and magic (Arts), but at a terrible cost: Oripathy. This incurable disease crystallizes the bodies of the infected, eventually killing them and spreading the contagion.

Society is fractured by this plague. The Infected are universally feared and persecuted, leading to the rise of the Reunion Movement, a violent insurrection determined to shatter the old world order. Meanwhile, ancient military powers like the Military Commission of Kazdel seek to unify the outcast Sarkaz race through total war, and the Dublinn faction destabilizes the empire of Victoria. Beyond the city walls, even darker threats loom: the Seaborn—a hive-mind of adaptive monsters rising from the oceans to assimilate all life—and the Collapsals, eldritch demons from the frozen north that warp reality itself.

Standing between Terra and total annihilation is Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical company and paramilitary organization. Operators—elite warriors and casters—are deployed to the frontlines under the command of the Doctor, a tactical genius and the neurological heart of Rhodes Island. Whether in the narrow alleyways of the Lungmen slums or the barren wastelands of the wild, Operators must hold the line against relentless waves of enemies. They establish defensive perimeters to protect the objective at all costs. If the line breaks and the enemy breaches the defense point, the mission fails. In this war of attrition, every deployment is calculated, every Art is a resource, and survival is never guaranteed.
