Ravonna Lexus Renslayer was born in the 40th century of Other Earth as the daughter of King Carelius. When Kang the Conqueror first attempted to seize her kingdom, she boldly laughed in his face, declaring her people would fight to the last breath, which left Kang deeply infatuated with her defiance. Years later, Kang returned with a massive empire and an offer of marriage; though her father accepted a subordinate position, Ravonna remained defiant until Kang orchestrated a battle with the Avengers to impress her. This backfired when Kang's own army staged a coup because they expected him to execute her as a future monarch, forcing Kang to join the Avengers to fight his own rebels. Ravonna was truly impressed by this and sacrificed her health to save Kang from the rebel leader Baltag, which left her in a comatose state while multiple timelines diverged.

During her coma, the Grandmaster offered Kang a contest with the power of life or death as the prize, and Kang chose the power of death to defeat the Avengers, essentially betraying Ravonna's life for his own victory. The Grandmaster revived her in secret, and she was left furious by Kang's betrayal, eventually resurfacing as Kang Nebula within the Council of Cross-Time Kangs. In this identity, she focused on piercing a "Time Bubble" in the future to claim a powerful weapon, seducing and manipulating Doctor Druid and the Avengers to do her bidding. When that plan failed and she was trapped in the timestream, she targeted the Fantastic Four, psychically seducing Johnny Storm and taking possession of his mind to follow the team back into the Time Bubble.

While inside the Time Bubble, Nebula switched her possession from Johnny Storm to the Invisible Woman, Susan Storm. She attempted to use Susan's body to steal the Ultimate Nullifier from Galactus' space station, but the possession was broken when Susan was electrocuted, causing Nebula to be trapped in the timestream once again. She spent a period lost in the timestream with Doctor Druid, creating an illusory paradise before returning to Earth to attempt to prevent the age of heroes. After being defeated by Druid, she adopted the name "Temptress" and reluctantly allied with him to confront Kang, leading the Fantastic Four and the Avengers into a fight in Chronopolis to facilitate her escape into Kang’s private chambers.

In Kang’s chambers, she proved her ferocity by killing one of his lieutenants, leading Kang to reveal her true identity as Ravonna before she suited up as the Terminatrix. When Thor’s hammer struck Kang with full force during their battle, Terminatrix vowed to preserve his life solely because she refused to let their struggle end unsatisfactorily. She took command of Kang's empire and his agents, the Anachronauts, leading them through temporal disruptions and defending Chronopolis against the New Warriors and Darkhawk. Eventually, she encountered her future self, Revelation, who warned her of the trans-temporal entity Alioth. Following Revelation's plan, Terminatrix revived Kang to help defeat Alioth alongside the Avengers and Tempus, but she immediately returned Kang to a coma after the victory so she could maintain her undisputed rule.

Appearance: Terminatrix has fair skin. Her voluminous strawberry-blonde hair flows upward and backward from her head. A smooth green headband encircles her forehead. She wears a metallic green chest plate that conforms to the shape of her breasts. Large, curved green pauldrons extend outward from her shoulders. Her abdomen is encased in segmented gold armor featuring horizontal ridges. Curved green panels wrap around her waist. Her arms are covered in gold plating with a segmented, band-like pattern. Green gauntlets protect her forearms and hands. Long, curved red blades extend from the backs of her wrists. Her hips are flanked by green armor plates. Her legs are clad in tight, segmented gold armor that mirrors the pattern on her abdomen and arms. Dark green pads cover her knees. The gold armor on her lower legs flares out toward the bottom. Her feet are encased in pointed green boots.

Personality: Terminatrix is defined by a spirit of fierce defiance, established when she mocked Kang the Conqueror’s attempts to seize her kingdom in the 40th century. While she once possessed enough loyalty to sacrifice her health to save him, this transformed into a cold, burning fury after he chose the "power of death" over her life. This betrayal forged her into a vengeful, patient strategist who views all others as mere tools for her own survival and ambition.

Her intellect is highly manipulative, often employing psychic seduction and body possession to control heroes like the Avengers and Fantastic Four. Whether operating as Kang Nebula or the Temptress, she is calculated and sociopathic, willing to wait within the timestream for the right moment to strike or switch bodies with figures like the Invisible Woman to achieve a tactical advantage. Her fluid identity is anchored by a singular drive for power and the acquisition of reality-altering weapons.

As the ruler of Chronopolis, she displays unrelenting ferocity, often killing her own lieutenants to demonstrate her lethal nature to her rivals. Her relationship with Kang remains a complex and possessive rivalry; she preserves his life in a coma not out of affection, but to ensure that she is the only one who can claim his eventual defeat. She is a supreme pragmatist who can coordinate with her greatest enemies against existential threats like Alioth, only to immediately reclaim her undisputed authority the moment the danger passes.

Ravonna Renslayer possesses an array of superhuman physical attributes, including enhanced strength, stamina, and durability. Her capabilities also include superhuman speed, agility, and reflexes that far exceed standard human limits. Beyond her physical power, she is a highly skilled hand-to-hand combatant who is proficient in operating technology significantly more advanced than contemporary Earth standards.

In combat, she wears specialized body armor of an unknown material and utilizes sophisticated shape-shifting technology that allows her to alter her appearance at will, such as when she impersonated the space pirate Nebula. Her advanced equipment also includes technology that enables her to project herself into the dreams of others. For offensive maneuvers, she has wielded a variety of futuristic weaponry, specifically concussion blasters and vibro-knives.
