Tendra Risant is a poised and perceptive Sacorrian woman, born into wealth as the daughter of a prominent businessman and a mid-level government official. While her position affords her comfort and status, she remains clear-eyed about its origins—recognizing that her success is largely due to political connections and family favor within the Corellian sector. Alongside her minor governmental duties, she manages much of her father’s business paperwork, operating efficiently behind the scenes.

Despite her prosperity, Tendra grows restless with the rigid customs of Sacorrian society. Under local law, natives are forbidden from marrying offworlders, and the social circles around her are stifling and transactional. Longing for both love and change, she takes an unconventional step—submitting a personal advertisement in search of a stable, offworld husband.

Her message draws the attention of Lando Calrissian, who, after completing the Dometown facility on Coruscant, seeks a well-matched partner in life and business. When Lando visits Sacorria, the two feel an immediate connection. Their chemistry is undeniable, but political tension on the planet soon forces Lando to leave—expelled by the Sacorrian Triad, who are secretly orchestrating the Corellian Incident.

Before departing, Lando gives Tendra a primitive radionics device, capable of transmitting simple messages at lightspeed. Not long after his exit, Tendra notices a disturbing military fleet buildup near Sacorrian space. Alarmed and receiving no word from Lando, she takes decisive action—acquiring a makeshift ship called the Gentleman Caller and setting off for Corellia to deliver a warning.

Mid-journey, however, the Centerpoint Station interdiction field activates, trapping her in deep space. Her hyperdrive fails, and subspace communications are jammed. With no other means to reach Lando, she turns to the radionics device. Though limited by the speed of light, her messages slip through the jamming field and reach their destination.

Her transmissions make contact. Tendra is brought into communication with New Republic Intelligence and assigned the codename “Source T.” She relays detailed reports of the Sacorrian fleet movements, providing critical intelligence that helps the New Republic and Bakuran forces prepare for the Battle of Centerpoint Station.

In the aftermath of the conflict, Lando begins courting Tendra in earnest. She relocates to Dometown on Coruscant, and the two soon marry. Her brave actions are formally acknowledged by Airen Cracken, who delivers word of her heroism to her father—easing the family's disappointment over her defiance of Sacorrian tradition, which results in her being permanently exiled from her homeworld.

Together, Tendra and Lando build a powerful commercial legacy. With support from her family’s contacts, they open an underwater mining facility on Varn, which becomes a financial success. This venture leads to mining operations on Dubrillion and Destrillion, and eventually to the founding of Tendrando Arms, a cutting-edge tech and weapons manufacturer.

During the Yuuzhan Vong War, Tendrando Arms produces the YVH 1 battle droids, which become crucial to the Republic’s resistance efforts. Tendra works closely with Lando and the Smugglers’ Alliance, collaborating with key figures like Booster Terrik and Talon Karrde to support the Republic’s war strategy.

In the wake of the Yuuzhan Vong surrender, Tendra and Lando shift toward legitimate ventures, investing in rebuilding efforts and using their vast resources to aid galactic recovery. No longer pursuing personal gain alone, Tendra dedicates herself to meaningful, future-focused projects that serve a greater good.

By 40 ABY, Tendra is pregnant with their first child, Lando Calrissian Jr., later affectionately called Chance. In 43 ABY, she and Lando celebrate with friends on Kessel, having helped avert a planetary disaster caused by intense ground quakes.

Appearance: Tendra is a fair skinned human woman. Her eyes are almond-shaped and are blue. Her hair is styled in soft waves, typically worn slightly longer than shoulder-length, and is a medium to light brown with subtle highlights.

Tendra wears a striking sleeveless blue gown with a high, structured collar and angular shoulders. The bodice is form-fitting with asymmetrical lines and gathered detailing at the sides . She accessorizes with dangling, ornate earrings and a silver bracelet. She wears open-toed high-heels.

Kessel, originally known as Xo's Eye while under Xim's empire, was a planet located in the Kessel sector, in the Outer Rim Territories, near Hutt Space and the dangerous celestial bodies of the Maw. It was a prison world, and was home to the galaxy's largest glitterstim spice mining operation. Under Imperial rule, slave labor was in extensive use, but has since ended after the New Republic's victory over the Empire.

In 43.5 ABY, Lando Calrissian contacted ex-smuggler Han Solo and Jedi Knight Leia Organa Solo with news of sudden devastating quakes on the planet of Kessel, where he co-owned a profitable mining company, Calrissian-Nunb Mines, with the Sullustan Nien Nunb. The Solos agreed to travel to Kessel with their granddaughter, Allana, and the family's protocol droid, C-3PO, to help Calrissian out. Upon their arrival on Kessel, they were briefed on the mines' history. The quakes had started around 41 ABY, during the height of the Second Galactic Civil War. The Solos agreed to scout out the caves, and see if Leia's Force skills could figure out what the scientific teams Calrissian had sent down earlier could not.

Journeying into dark caverns in an armed speeder, the Solos were accidentally stranded in a deep gorge when their speeder crashed. Upon landing, they discovered several strange machines that were somehow connected to a large population of bogeys—creatures that disabled machinery if they came into contact. The machinery itself was emitting huge amounts of power, and would destroy the planet if left to function.

Diagnosing the machinery as a threat, Calrissian called in several veteran pilots, including Wedge Antilles, Drathan and Inyri Forge, Cheriss ke Hanadi, Derek Klivian, Koyi Komad, Maarek Stele, Kell Tainer, Nrin Vakil, and Rhysati Ynr to neutralize the installations. Equipped with various fighters, including an Eta-5 fighter and a TIE bomber along with several X-wing fighters, and led by the Millennium Falcon, the team descended into the depths of the caves.

Despite a close encounter with various strange lifeforms and some setbacks, the team was able to successfully find and disable all of the generators, thus saving Kessel and the Calrissian-Nunb Mines.
