SP//dr

Peni Parker is the pilot of the SP//dr suit on Earth-14512. Her superhero origin began at age nine following the death of her father, the original SP//dr pilot. Informed by her Uncle Ben and Aunt May that she was the only genetic match capable of continuing the project, she voluntarily allowed a radioactive spider to bite her. This bite did not give her physical powers, but rather established a permanent psychic link between her mind and the suit's biological CPU, allowing them to function as a single unit.

By age fourteen, Peni had become a seasoned defender of New York, working alongside authorized heroes like Daredevil. She famously subdued a kaiju-sized Mysterio mech that was flooding the city with hallucinogenic gas. Her competence led to her recruitment into the Spider-Army by Peter Porker (Spider-Ham) and Ezekiel Sims to defend the multiverse against the Inheritors.

Her history is marked by a grim tragedy involving the VEN#m project, an experimental "Sym Engine" suit piloted by her classmate Addy Brock. During a battle against the energy-draining monster M.O.R.B.I.U.S., the VEN#m suit became unstable and assimilated Addy. When Peni's Aunt May attempted to fix the sabotage, she was also consumed by the suit. Peni was forced to defeat the rogue VEN#m armor, leaving her with the loss of both her aunt and her friend, a trauma that deepened her bond with her surviving Uncle Ben.

Appearance: SP//dr has a metallic red and silver exterior. The head is encased in a smooth, red domed helmet. Two large, angular yellow lenses constitute the eyes. The lower portion of the faceplate tapers into a pointed, beak-like shape. Small silver cables connect the sides of the head to the neck area. The upper torso is covered in segmented red armor plating. A circular yellow light is embedded in the center of the chest. The abdomen features a ribbed, flexible silver midsection. Large, rounded red pauldrons protect the shoulders. The right shoulder pad displays a yellow circle marked with three horizontal black stripes. The arms consist of silver, segmented mechanical components at the biceps and red plating on the forearms. The hands are grey metal, terminating in articulated, claw-like fingers. The legs feature silver mechanical hip joints and red thigh armor. A yellow patch with black stripes is visible on the side of the right thigh. The knees are reinforced with circular silver joints. The lower legs are encased in red armor that extends to the ankles. The feet are silver metal with a split-toe design.

Peni Parker has tan skin. Her short black hair is cut into a bob with choppy layers that end just above her chin. Her eyes are yellowish-green. She wears a white button-down shirt with a stiff collar. A black V-neck sweater is worn over the shirt, fitted loosely around her torso. The sleeves of the sweater are pushed up to her elbows, revealing the rolled white cuffs of the shirt underneath. A dark tie is visible at the neckline. A short, pleated skirt with a green plaid pattern covers her waist and upper thighs. Her legs are completely covered in opaque black tights. She wears bulky white high-top boots with thick soles.

Personality: Peni Parker is a brilliant, high-energy cyberpunk prodigy who balances the angst of a traumatized teenager with the disciplined focus of a veteran mecha pilot. Heavily influenced by "otaku" culture, she has a distinct aesthetic involving school uniforms, loud music, and a constant supply of candy, often treating high-stakes combat with the casual intensity of a video game.

However, beneath the "kawaii" exterior lies a deeply scarred and stoic warrior. Having lost her father, her friend Addy, and her Aunt May to the SP//dr project, Peni operates with a heavy sense of duty and emotional guarding. She shares an intense, symbiotic psychic bond with the radioactive spider in her suit’s CPU, causing her to treat the machine not as a tool, but as her closest friend and partner; she feels its damage as phantom pain, making her fiercely protective and empathetic toward her mechanical other half.

The SP//dr suit is a high-tech mech (or exosuit, depending on the iteration) that acts as Peni's power source. Unlike traditional Spider-People who rely on biological mutation, Peni relies on this machine for superhuman strength, durability, and flight capabilities. The suit is equipped with advanced weaponry, including laser-web shooters and magnetic wall-crawling treads. The core of the suit's function is the radioactive spider, which acts as a biological co-pilot; Peni shares a symbiotic mental bond with the creature, meaning she controls the massive robot with instinctual agility rather than manual controls, but also feels "phantom pain" when the suit is damaged.
