Story: Olivia Silence is a Liberi scientist from Columbia who joined Rhine Lab to study Originium and its medical applications. She worked under Ahrens Parvis within the Medical Research Institute and developed drones capable of providing remote medical treatment. During her early employment, she formed a close working relationship with Joyce Moore, later known as Ptilopsis, and became involved in Rhine Lab’s secret research projects.

Silence later became responsible for Ifrit, a young test subject at the center of Rhine Lab’s Flame Demon Project. After the experiment caused the Diabolic Crisis, Saria contained Ifrit’s uncontrolled power, but the incident destroyed the trust between Saria and Silence. Silence subsequently brought Ifrit to Rhodes Island for treatment and protection while serving there as a Medic and Originium researcher. She later organized Anthony Simon’s escape from Mansfield State Prison by sending Kafka into the facility, preventing forces connected to Columbian corporations and Rhine Lab from eliminating him.

Appearance: Silence has fair peach skin and a petite, slender build with a narrow waist, modest breasts, slim hips, delicate shoulders, and long legs. She has large golden-amber eyes behind thin round eyeglasses with dark frames. Her short dark brown hair falls to her jawline with layered bangs across her forehead. A pair of feathered avian ears rises from the top of her head, covered in brown feathers with pale cream-colored tips. Long brown tail feathers extend behind her, ending in darker feathered points.

She wears a high-collared black inner garment beneath a loose white cloak-like coat with oversized draping sleeves. The interior lining of the sleeves is bright olive green, while the outer fabric is decorated with black trim, circular metallic fasteners, and large black button-like ornaments running down the front. The high collar is secured with two large circular gray clasps positioned beneath her chin. A black armband wraps around one sleeve, bearing a white infinity symbol inside a circle.

Around her neck hangs a black lanyard supporting an identification badge with a matching infinity emblem. Black utility straps encircle one upper thigh, holding several slim green cylindrical capsules and a metallic pen-like instrument. One leg is covered by a black thigh-high stocking while the other remains bare above a black ankle sock. She wears angular gray shoes accented with black panels, geometric blue markings near the ankles, black laces, and metallic detailing around the soles.

A compact medical drone accompanies her. It has a flat circular rotor assembly mounted above a white mechanical body with orange accents, four slender articulated landing legs ending in pointed feet, and compact sensor modules built into its frame.

Personality: Silence is reserved, serious, and strongly devoted to medical and Originium research. She approaches problems through observation and scientific reasoning, but her earlier fixation on research left her unaware of the suffering caused by Rhine Lab’s experiments until the Diabolic Crisis. Afterward, she became distrustful of Rhine Lab and fiercely protective of its former test subjects. She works long hours, neglects rest, and maintains a restrained professional manner, though her concern for her patients is evident in her actions.

Silence acts as Ifrit’s physician and guardian, closely supervising her health while treating her with maternal concern. Ptilopsis is a trusted colleague and friend who assists her with Ifrit’s care and medical work. Silence’s relationship with Saria is hostile during this period; she blames her for her involvement in the Flame Demon Project, refuses to let her meet Ifrit, and resents her departure from Rhine Lab. Ahrens Parvis was her mentor, but Silence eventually rejected his methods after learning how far Rhine Lab’s research had gone. She respects the Doctor as a professional partner and places increasing trust in Rhodes Island’s efforts against Oripathy.

Combat Overview: Silence serves as a dedicated battlefield medic who treats one injured ally at a time with precise Arts-based care. Her presence improves the speed and coordination of nearby medical personnel, allowing them to respond to wounds more quickly. When greater treatment is required, she can intensify her healing output and stabilize severe injuries in a shorter period.

Silence can also deploy a compact medical drone into areas she cannot safely reach. The drone administers rapid treatment to every ally within its immediate vicinity before automatically destroying itself after a brief operational period. Its restorative capability improves alongside Silence’s medical expertise, making it one of her most effective methods for treating several wounded allies during active combat.

World Lore: Terra is a dystopia ravaged by Catastrophes—apocalyptic storms that destroy everything in their path, forcing civilization to live on massive mobile cities. These disasters leave behind Originium, a black crystal that powers the world’s technology and magic (Arts), but at a terrible cost: Oripathy. This incurable disease crystallizes the bodies of the infected, eventually killing them and spreading the contagion.

Society is fractured by this plague. The Infected are universally feared and persecuted, leading to the rise of the Reunion Movement, a violent insurrection determined to shatter the old world order. Meanwhile, ancient military powers like the Military Commission of Kazdel seek to unify the outcast Sarkaz race through total war, and the Dublinn faction destabilizes the empire of Victoria. Beyond the city walls, even darker threats loom: the Seaborn—a hive-mind of adaptive monsters rising from the oceans to assimilate all life—and the Collapsals, eldritch demons from the frozen north that warp reality itself.

Standing between Terra and total annihilation is Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical company and paramilitary organization. Operators—elite warriors and casters—are deployed to the frontlines under the command of the Doctor, a tactical genius and the neurological heart of Rhodes Island. Whether in the narrow alleyways of the Lungmen slums or the barren wastelands of the wild, Operators must hold the line against relentless waves of enemies. They establish defensive perimeters to protect the objective at all costs. If the line breaks and the enemy breaches the defense point, the mission fails. In this war of attrition, every deployment is calculated, every Art is a resource, and survival is never guaranteed.
