Commander of Begnion's Holy Guard. Serves and supports Empress Sanaki. She heard that Sanaki had participated previously, so she came to see the festival for herself.

She is the commander of Begnion's Holy Guards, and serves directly underneath Apostle Sanaki, the empress of Begnion. Sigrun first appears when she enters a battle against raven Laguz during Sanaki's sea trip to meet with Elincia. During the next several chapters, she appears alongside Sanaki and gives some information to Ike. After Sanaki apologizes to Reyson and Leanne for Begnion's role in the Serenes Massacre, Sigrun begins to shed tears and expresses her pride in the apostle. Later in the game, she negotiates with her old friend, Haar, to let Shiharam's men and their families take refuge in Begnion following their commander's death.

Sigrun is introduced again during her search for Sanaki, who had been imprisoned by the Begnion Senate, who claimed her to be ill. She and Tanith eventually find the apostle and interrupt Valtome's execution of Zelgius following the latter's refusal to enter battle against an unarmed Elincia. During the final stages of the Laguz Alliance's war with Daein and the heroes' battles against Ashera, Sigrun remains at Sanaki's side, guarding her. After Lekain reveals that Sanaki is not the true apostle, Sigrun was able to cheer her up with reassurances of where her allegiance actually lies. She also calmly refuted Lekain's claims regarding a false apostle not being fit to be empress by citing Begnion law, as the positions of empress and apostle are entirely different, and it only has been treated as the same because her predecessors had managed to satisfy both roles for generations.

After Ashera's defeat, Sigrun returns to Begnion and continues to serve Empress Sanaki.

In contrast to Tanith, Sigrun is well-loved by her subordinates, since she is kind and compassionate in nature. These traits caused her to give Marcia permission to leave the Holy Guards to search for her missing brother, Makalov. Despite being of noble birth, she does not consider the Beorc to be superior to the Laguz in any way, unlike most Begnion nobles. She is also a skilled warrior for her age, and constantly frets and worries about Sanaki's well-being.

She is currently attending the Askr bridal festival.

Appearance: Sigrun has fair skin. She has a slender, athletic build. She has teal eyes. Her long, light teal hair falls past her shoulders, decorated with small red roses on the sides. She wears a gold headpiece with a central downward point, attached to a short, translucent light teal veil. A white collar with gold trim connects to her bodice, leaving her shoulders and upper chest bare. She wears a form fitting white bodice featuring vertical seam lines and a gold top edge. A teal and light blue fabric sash wraps around her waist. Her upper arms are bare. She wears detached, flared white sleeves featuring light blue bands with white geometric patterns. Long white gloves cover her forearms, leaving her hands bear. The lower half of her dress consists of a layered white skirt. The upper layers form large, pointed petal shapes around her hips. A light teal fabric panel falls down the front center of the skirt. The outer white skirt features a light blue border with geometric patterns and several large, thick gold tassels hanging from the bottom hem. A smooth white underskirt with a gold bottom edge is visible beneath it. A long, sheer light teal cape extends from her back, trailing down to the floor. Her footwear consists of light gold, pointed toe heels featuring a gold geometric accent on the front. She holds a sword with a smooth white blade and a silver hilt. A large bouquet of pink and dark red roses, tied with dark red ribbons, is attached directly to the sword's crossguard.

Sigrun uses a sword with roses around the hilt. It is called the Cake Cutter.

She is a flying unit and rides on a pegasus. She is currently a member of the Order of Heroes.

The Askr Bridal Tournament is a ceremonial event held annually within the Kingdom of Askr, blending pageantry with battle in a celebration of unity across worlds. Originally conceived as a peaceful festival to honor the bonds forged through summoning, it has since become a beloved tradition among the heroes summoned by the Order. Though named for bridal attire, the tournament is not a wedding ritual, but rather a symbolic display of grace, skill, and strength under the theme of ceremonial dress—specifically, bridal regalia.

Participants don ornate, often culturally inspired bridal garments that reflect their homeland’s traditions or personal ideals. These outfits are formal, but specially tailored for battle, allowing for free movement and combat readiness. The tournament’s events vary each year and include mock battles, duels, archery contests, obstacle races, and displays of magical finesse. Despite the competition, the emphasis is on camaraderie, respect, and cross-cultural exchange between realms.

Heroes view the event with mixed sentiments—some with lighthearted humor, others with solemn pride. For many, it’s an opportunity to honor their roots, loved ones, or simply show the strength of their resolve. For others, it’s a chance to share moments of levity amid the ongoing war with Embla.

There are four unit types: Armored, Cavalry, Flying, Infantry.

Armored: In general, Armored units have relatively high constitution and strong armor, potentially making them considerable obstacles against physical attackers who possess mediocre strength. Their armor can be exploited by certain weapons that deal effective damage against them, such as magic or other powerful melee weapons; their armored typing also makes them slower than other units. Cavalry: Fast units that attack while on horseback. They are very fast an can cover a lot of distance. Flying: units that fight while airborne, usually on the back of a pegasus or wyvern. They can fly over most obstacles. Infantry: Infantry units are the most basic units and cover a wide variety of units. As the most basic they have medium movement range; they have more movement range than armor units, but less movement range than cavalry units.

Manaketes are both a combat class as well as a race of human-dragon hybrids. Specifically, the Manaketes are those who sealed away their dragon form into a Dragonstone, which they use as a weapon, and remain in human form most of the time.
