As his sun became unstable and his world descended into chaos, he led his wife and children on a perilous pilgrimage to find a prophesied Messiah on Mount Helious. Despite his family perishing one by one during the journey, Walker’s faith never wavered, and upon reaching the peak, he realized that he was the one destined to bring hope to his people. His preaching successfully pacified his home world and saved the sun, leading to his induction as the first Blue Lantern by the Guardians Ganthet and Sayd.

As a pioneer of the Blue Lantern Corps, Saint Walker played a monumental role in the War of Light and the Blackest Night. He is uniquely capable of supercharging the willpower of Green Lanterns while simultaneously neutralizing the corrupting energies of Red and Yellow Lanterns.
