Rosenda-A344 was born on Earth in the Greater Chicago Industrial Zone on January 5, 2525, before moving to the colony world of Vodin. Her life took a drastic turn in 2532 when a Covenant invasion resulted in the death of her parents and the glassing of her home. Identified as a prime candidate for the SPARTAN-III program, she was brought to Onyx to train under Lieutenant Kurt Ambrose and SCPO Franklin Mendez. Rosenda excelled in this brutal environment, earning a spot as one of the elite "Cat-2" specimens of Alpha Company. This distinction saved her from the suicidal Operation: PROMETHEUS, as she was instead equipped with MJOLNIR armor and assigned to specialized units, eventually becoming the original "Noble Four" of NOBLE Team.

During her tenure with NOBLE, Rosenda participated in several key operations, including the defense of Concord in December 2551. When their Pelican was downed in the snowy Hinterlands, she played a vital role in the liberation of the town of Skathi. Alongside Kat and Thom, she engaged a Covenant convoy from a moving Arctic Warthog, displaying lethal precision by neutralizing multiple Ghost pilots with short, controlled bursts from her assault rifle. During the subsequent boarding of a Draugr siege platform, she was the first out of the vehicle, clearing the troop bay of Kig-Yar with her combat knife before helping to secure the engine against enemy boarders.

The victory at Concord was bittersweet for Rosenda, as she expressed deep concern to Jorge-052 about the likelihood of a much larger Covenant return. Shortly after the battle, Commander Carter-A259 informed her of her reassignment from the team. She exchanged formal salutes and a final comms ping with Thom before departing on a separate Pelican, narrowly missing the catastrophic events at Fumirole and the subsequent Fall of Reach. Her position was eventually filled by Emile-A239, though Colonel Urban Holland noted that he would have preferred Rosenda for any mission requiring a more tempered hand against human insurgents.

Rosenda successfully survived the Human-Covenant War, continuing her service into the post-war era. She transitioned into a covert role within the UNSC, focusing on clandestine operations against both Covenant remnants and lingering insurrectionist factions. Her career remained defined by the same professional excellence and tactical discipline that had once made her a pillar of the early NOBLE Team, though she remained one of the few Spartans to carry the memories of the original unit into a new age of conflict.

At some time in the post-war or Created uprising eras, she was invited to a meeting by fellow ex-NOBLE member Jun-A266, which she accepted.

Rosenda was seemingly close with the other members of NOBLE Team, and has been known to make lighthearted jokes with Jorge-052 and Kat-B320. Her relationship with Thom-A293 was even closer, with the two of them regularly cracking jokes together.

Rosenda has a distinct surly drawl to her voice. In December 2551, her hair was noted to be thick and a bit longer than regulation.

During the defense of Concord in December 2551, Rosenda-A344 was equipped with the Mark V [B] MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor and a CQC-class helmet. She employed the SAP/Recon on her left shoulder and the SAP/CQC on her right shoulder. She also employed a P1DA Bracer on her right forearm and an M45 Hardcase hard case on her left thigh. She has been observed wielding an assault rifle or battle rifle and combat knife.

The Human-Covenant War was instigated by the High Prophets of the Covenant following a discovery which led them to believe that humans were directly related to the Forerunners, contradicting their ancient religion. Seeking to keep various political and religious orders intact, the High Prophets declared a holy war of genocide against the human species, and the discovery of their relation to the Forerunners was kept a secret. With superior firepower, numbers and technology, the Covenant would repeatedly overpower the UNSC across hundreds of human-inhabited worlds, including the heavily defended strongholds of Reach and Earth. Humanity would win only scattered and costly victories.
