Riot

Riot was born from a dark experiment conducted by the Life Foundation, a sinister organization formed in anticipation of global catastrophe during the Cold War era. Their goal was to ensure the survival and comfort of the world's wealthiest elites in the event of nuclear fallout, and to that end, they engaged in radical scientific ventures. Trevor Cole, a mercenary drawn from the Foundation’s elite security force composed of ex-cops, soldiers, and hired guns, was selected for one such experiment. In this project, the Venom symbiote was forcibly subjected to a spawning process, producing several offspring—one of which bonded with Trevor, becoming the entity known as Riot. Compared to his fellow hosts, Trevor was already noted for his aggressive and unfeeling disposition, and this mentality deeply influenced Riot’s behavior and combat style. Among the Life Foundation symbiotes, Riot quickly stood out as the most brutal and domineering, surpassed in savagery only by the later emergence of Carnage.

Appearance: Riot has a large, heavily muscular humanoid build covered in a bluish-gray symbiotic suit with slightly darker uneven patches across his body. His face is dark with large, jagged white eyes and an open mouth full of long, sharp, interlocking teeth. His frame is bulkier than most symbiotes, with broad shoulders, thick limbs, and visible muscle definition.

Like his progenitor, Riot grants its host superhuman strength, durability, stamina, and an accelerated healing factor, along with the ability to cling to surfaces and generate webbing. He also shares an extrasensory perception similar to Spider-Man’s spider-sense, while remaining immune to Spider-Man’s own version of it. The symbiote can camouflage itself and manipulate its own biomass to form various shapes and weapons. Unlike his sibling symbiotes, Riot favors forming large, bludgeoning tools such as hammers and maces—likely influenced by host Trevor Cole's aggressive personality and mindset. He can create and control constituent matter from his own body to execute such transformations. As a security operative, Trevor brought additional training in armed and unarmed combat, tactical awareness, and weapon proficiency to the fusion. Despite his power, Riot retains the inherent vulnerabilities of the Klyntar species. He is highly susceptible to sonic-based attacks and extreme heat, both of which can destabilize or destroy the symbiote.
