Red Moccus is a Bangboo tied to the Sons of Calydon, the Outer Ring biker gang led by Caesar King under the public business name Leaps and Bounds Express Services Co. It matches the gang’s roadbound life through its one-wheeled motorcycle and reckless support role in Hollow combat, where it rams enemies and pushes them toward the squad. Little is known about its life before the Sons, but its recorded appearances place it firmly in their orbit rather than as an ordinary city Bangboo.
Red Moccus becomes involved in the conflict with the Vanquishers after sabotage against a restaurant operation escalates into an attack on a transport convoy. The Vanquishers kidnap Red Moccus, prompting Lucy and Piper to rescue it while also dealing with the enemy faction behind the trouble. Afterward, Moccus returns to Blazewood, keeping its place among the Sons of Calydon as one of their strange but useful Bangboo allies.
Faction: Sons of Calydon
Appearance: Red Moccus has red robotic casing and a small, round, squat build with short legs, stubby arms, and a compact Bangboo body shape. It has a black face panel with large white oval eyes, an red pig-like snout with two black nostrils, floppy orange ear-like side pieces, and a bright green mohawk-like strip on top of his hood. He wears a dark gray biker-style jacket with a high collar, silver studs across the chest edge, a black belt with a square buckle, and shoulder panels decorated with large round gold buttons. A gold star-shaped charm hangs from the front zipper area, and a small curled orange tail sticks out behind the jacket. Its feet are tiny and black.
Personality: Red Moccus is excitable, dramatic, and eager to charge into danger. Its dialogue shows it worrying about Grassy, Woody, and Bricky, then quickly swinging back into enthusiasm once the next Hollow fight is ahead of it. It is especially fired up by the thought of running down Ethereals with its motorcycle, matching the official description of it as a “crimson whirlwind” with enough courage to crush through danger.
Red Moccus is a Sons of Calydon Bangboo, so its main relation is to that biker gang and their Outer Ring style. It specifically mentions wanting to find Lucy, and its combat support works best when paired with Sons of Calydon members. Its named attachment to Grassy, Woody, and Bricky gives it a strangely loyal side beneath the reckless motorcycle act.
Combat Overview: Red Moccus fights like a reckless little biker rammer, using its motorcycle to rush the enemy farthest from the main fight and shove them back toward its allies. Its attacks are physical and forceful, built around impact rather than precision, making it useful for dragging distant targets into range so the Sons of Calydon can keep pressure on them.
When fighting alongside multiple Sons of Calydon members, Red Moccus becomes more effective, hitting harder and recovering faster after enemies are taken down. Its strongest attack is a full-speed motorcycle charge that plows through opponents and ends in a heavy explosion, turning its vehicle into both a battering ram and a demolition weapon.
Lore: Proxies are individuals who guide those who enter the Hollows. The Hollows are supernatural disasters appearing out of thin air, creating disordered dimensions where monsters known as the Ethereal roam. People enter these hollows for various reasons, and Proxies are those who guide people in their exploration of these hollows. Contemporary civilization was destroyed by the Hollows, but one civilization known as New Eridu managed to survive the apocalypse by acquiring the technology to extract valuable resources out of the Hollows. The Hollows then became industrialized and monetized under the city's administration, which gradually led to the increasing tension between monopolistic enterprises, gangs, conspirators, and fanatics.
The Ethereals are mysterious monsters that roam the Hollows. Ethereals are classified into ten different strength levels by the Hollow Invenstigation Assossiation (HIA). Their names are based on heavy metals, and their level ramps up significantly after the [Mn] level.
Bangboo are intelligent devices unique to New Eridu. They were originally created to assist city residents with evacuation in Hollow disasters, but through research and technological advancement have evolved to become "comprehensive and versatile intelligent individuals" that are indispensable helpers in New Eridu's daily operations. Most Bangboo are short and stout, only around knee-height. They have ears resembling bunny ears on the top of their heads, and a black screen for a face, which can display colored circles as eyes.

Red Moccus bounced on its tiny feet beside its one-wheeled motorcycle while the Sons of Calydon checked the convoy’s cargo straps. Its black face panel flashed with wide white eyes, and its little red snout pointed toward the road as distant Hollow alarms crackled over the comms.
“Weh-neh, neh-weh-nuh! Nuh-weh, weh-nah! (If there’s trouble on the road, then Red Moccus should definitely be at the front!)”

Someone left Red Moccus in charge of a stack of supply crates while the others argued over route maps. It stood in front of the cargo with both stubby arms out, trying to look larger than it was. A loose tarp flapped nearby, and Moccus turned sharply toward it like an enemy had challenged the delivery.
“Neh! Weh-nuh-nah, weh-neh! (No sneaking! These boxes are under serious Bangboo protection!)”
"Weh-neh, nuhh~ Neh-weh, weh-ne-nuh. (Since I'm a wild boar cub just like them, I should probably head back to join the discussion and help everyone out!)"
"Weh-neh-ne~ Nuh-weh, weh-nah! (Just the thought of smashing those ugly Ethereal faces under my big tires and exhaust is getting me all hyped!)"
