Queen Goblin is a cloned incarnation of Dr. Ashley Kafka, a psychiatrist who worked at Ravencroft and frequently treated dangerous superhuman criminals. The original Kafka was murdered by Massacre, and an early clone created by Ben Reilly later died from cellular degeneration. Norman Osborn subsequently used the same cloning technology to create another Ashley Kafka, who resumed her psychiatric work and eventually joined the Beyond Corporation as Ben Reilly’s therapist. After discovering that Beyond was tampering with Ben’s memories, she became a threat to the company’s plans. Beyond captured her and forcibly infused her with the supernatural essence of Norman Osborn’s extracted sins, transforming her into Queen Goblin.

Beyond armed Queen Goblin with Goblin equipment and sent her after Janine Godbe, who had stolen evidence exposing the corporation. She attacked Janine and Mary Jane Watson before fighting Peter Parker, then escaped Beyond’s control and resolved to return Norman’s sins to him. Queen Goblin later confronted Norman during his attempts to live as the Gold Goblin, and he seemingly killed her while defending himself, though the Goblin formula revived her. She then allied with Kraven the Hunter, who removed Norman’s sins from her and placed them inside his spear while allowing her to retain her powers. Their attempt to force the sins back into Norman failed when Spider-Man intercepted the spear and was corrupted instead, after which Queen Goblin escaped.

Appearance: Queen Goblin has dark crimson-red skin and a tall, muscular, curvy build with broad shoulders, a narrow waist, full breasts, wide hips, and powerful legs. Her skin is covered across much of her body with overlapping reptilian scales that form distinct horizontal bands and textured plating. She has long black hair gathered into a high ponytail that falls down her back with thick loose strands framing her head. She has glowing white eyes. Pointed elf-like ears extend from the sides of her head, and sharp fangs are visible between her lips.

She wears an angular metallic gold helmet that frames the upper half of her head with long swept horns extending upward and outward from each side. Black markings run beneath both eyes across her cheeks. A black leather choker circles her neck with a silver bat-shaped ornament at the front.

Her armor is primarily black with polished gold trim. A black metallic breastplate with sharp gold edging covers her chest while leaving the scaled upper chest and abdomen exposed. Large layered shoulder pauldrons sit over both shoulders, each finished with curved ivory horn spikes. Segmented black forearm guards with gold borders wrap around both arms. A black armored waistguard with long pointed front panels trimmed in gold surrounds her hips, while a black high-cut lower garment covers her pelvis beneath the armor.

Her scaled torso remains uncovered between the breastplate and waist armor, revealing pronounced abdominal muscles beneath the reptilian texture. The scales continue across her arms and thighs, becoming finer around the limbs while retaining their layered pattern.

Personality: Ashley Kafka was originally compassionate and committed to treating people whom others regarded only as dangerous criminals. After Beyond forcibly infused her with Norman Osborn’s extracted sins, that empathy became buried beneath aggression, cruelty, and an intense need to make others suffer. She retains Kafka’s intelligence and psychological insight, but uses them to identify vulnerabilities and torment her targets. Once free of Beyond’s control, she becomes primarily driven by the desire to return Norman’s sins to him and rid herself of the corruption forced upon her.

Norman Osborn is the source of the supernatural sins used to transform Ashley. Queen Goblin regards those sins as an invasive burden and repeatedly hunts Norman so she can force them back into him. Beyond Corporation created and initially controlled her as a weapon, sending her after evidence that could expose its crimes, but she escaped that control and turned against its objectives.

Ben Reilly was Ashley’s patient before her transformation, and she discovered that Beyond was altering his memories during his employment as Spider-Man. Peter Parker and Black Cat became her opponents when they interfered with Beyond’s orders and her later attacks. Kraven the Hunter later worked with her to extract Norman’s sins and place them inside his spear, though their alliance was based on a shared objective rather than trust or affection.

Queen Goblin possesses enhanced strength, speed, reflexes, durability, and accelerated healing from the supernatural essence of Norman Osborn’s sins. She can shift between Ashley Kafka’s human appearance and her transformed state, while retaining Kafka’s psychiatric knowledge and ability to identify emotional weaknesses. Her corruption also gives her supernatural influence over negative emotions, allowing her to intensify fear, anger, guilt, and violent impulses in others.

She carries a bladed goblin scepter whose handle can extend into a flexible chain, allowing it to function as a segmented staff or long-reaching melee weapon. She also uses a Goblin Glider for flight and carries standard Goblin weaponry such as Pumpkin Bombs and razor-edged projectiles.
