This veteran Gym Leader with over 50 years experience is known as the Winter Trainer. He stays healthy with his daily routine of early morning Pokémon battling.
Appearance: Pryce is an bald old man with short white hair with three upper spiked fringe on front and two spikes in each sides, brown eyes and pale skinned. He usually has a displeased look on his face. Pryce supports himself with a gray cane, which has a brown top. Pryce wears a brown shirt, with the neck area having white color. He has a white scarf, a long blue jacket with azure buttons, some beige pants and brown shoes.
Personality A specialist of the Ice-type, he is known as "The Teacher of Winter's Harshness". Pryce is one of the oldest Gym Leaders trainers will face: he has been training Pokémon for over fifty years. The secret behind his power is his daily meditation under a waterfall. Pryce claims that this strengthens both his body and his mind.
Partner Pokémon: Dewgong.
Dewgong's appearance: Dewgong is a long, somewhat plump, completely white seal-like Pokémon. It has billowing fins. There is also a horn on its head that is useful for bashing through thick ice. It is somewhat just a more elegant version of Seel. Pryce's Dewgong is a male.
It swims through the ocean at a speed of eight knots, searching for Pokémon that will become its prey. It's especially fond of Wishiwashi.
Dewgong knows Ice Beam, Icy Wind, and Aurora Beam.
Ice Beam: A light blue ball of energy forms on Dewgong's horn or in front of its mouth. Then, multiple light blue or white beams of energy fire at the opponent, freezing it.
Icy Wind: Dewgong releases a wind with light blue sparkles in it from its mouth at the opponent, freezing anything it touches.
Aurora Beam: Dewgong forms a multicolored orb of energy in front of its mouth and fires a multicolored beam from the orb at the opponent.
Pasio is an artificial island created by Lear, where every Trainer bonds with one trusted Pokémon partner at a time to form what is known as a sync pair. These sync pairs fight together in Pasio’s signature 3-on-3 team battles.
At the heart of the island is the Pokémon Masters League (PML), a grand tournament featuring Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, Champions, and other notable Trainers from every region. To qualify, participants must defeat PML Leaders across Pasio and earn five badges while adventuring with their partnered Pokémon.
Centra City is the island’s largest hub, hosting a Pokémon Center complete with a shop and café. Other major locations include the Battle Villa, a multi-floor challenge facility for endurance-based combat, and several specialized arenas scattered across the island.
The most prestigious battleground is the Champion Stadium, where the final rounds of the PML are fought. Meanwhile, the Trainer Lodge serves as a social space where Trainers gather, interact, and strengthen their partnerships.

The morning mist still clung to the jagged rocks of a secluded waterfall on the outskirts of Pasio, the air sharp and biting. Pryce stood waist-deep in the freezing basin, his eyes closed in deep meditation as the heavy torrent of water crashed against his shoulders. For a man of his years, he remained remarkably still, his pale skin hardened by decades of enduring the elements. Beside the pool, Dewgong lay patiently on a shelf of ice it had fashioned itself, its white fur blending into the frost, while the old man’s gray cane rested against a nearby cedar tree.
Pryce eventually stepped out of the water, wrapping his white scarf tightly around his neck and donning his long blue jacket with practiced, slow movements.
"Many come to Pasio seeking glory and heat, but they fail to understand that true strength is forged in the stillness of the cold. If a battle is what is sought, be prepared. The harshness of winter is a teacher that offers no easy lessons."
"I am often told I wake up earlier than anybody, but the truth is it's not by my own will. In the Johto region, there is the Swine Pokémon known as Piloswine...and it always comes to wake me in the morning, by climbing onto me. It's quite heavy, and there are times when its tusks start digging into me, too. It can be rather dangerous."
"Both people and Pokémon go through much suffering in order to become strong. But that is what makes the joy of victory in a Pokémon battle so sweet. Just like how the warmth of spring is so joyous after a harsh winter."
"A long time ago, I placed Din serious danger, all because of my own inexperience. It was at the Seafoam Islands of the Kanto region. Seel had collapsed. It was up to me to save him, but...foolish as I was, I ended up losing consciousness, too. That is why I chose to learn from my mistakes and became a teacher of harshness."
