Prometheus is a criminal enemy of the Justice League whose life begins with the death of his outlaw parents during a police shootout. After witnessing their deaths, he devotes himself to destroying the forces of justice. Using hidden money left behind by his parents, he travels the world, trains as a fighter, mercenary, and killer, and eventually discovers Shambhala, where he obtains the Ghost Key and access to the Ghost Zone. He builds his base inside that void and uses it as a hidden place to plan attacks against heroes.

Prometheus first becomes a major threat to the Justice League by murdering a young man named Retro, taking his place, and infiltrating the Watchtower. Once inside, he attacks several League members using preparation, specialized weapons, and his helmet’s downloaded combat knowledge, even overpowering Batman before the League recovers and forces him to escape through the Ghost Zone. Later, he joins Lex Luthor’s Injustice Gang and attacks the League again, but Batman defeats him by sabotaging the combat data in his helmet.

After his mind is restored, Prometheus returns and carries out a wider revenge campaign against heroes.

Appearance: Prometheus has no visible skin with his armor on and a tall, lean athletic build with broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and long limbs. He wears a dark purple-black full helmet with a rounded crown, side-mounted mechanical pods, red circular lens details, and a slotted faceplate with vertical grill-like openings. The helmet fully covers his head and face, with no visible eyes behind the visor.

His suit is mostly black and fitted closely across the torso, arms, hips, and legs. A white cape hangs from his shoulders and wraps around one side in heavy folded fabric, crossing behind the gold shoulder armor and falling in long pale panels. The shoulders are covered by large gold armor plates packed with round orange lens-like nodes, each set into the metal like raised circular discs. Matching gold armor covers his forearms, with more orange circular nodes arranged along the bracers.

A dark mesh-like band crosses his chest beneath the cape, fitted with a small circular device at the center. Around his waist, he wears a wide gold utility belt with rectangular plate sections and a purple central buckle. His gloves are dark, and one wrist has a metallic cuff-like device. He carries a large silver weapon with a thick barrel and mechanical casing, held low at his side. His boots are black with purple and gold accents, pointed toe sections, and circular gold details near the ankles.

Personality: Prometheus is obsessive, calculating, and completely driven by hatred of heroes and law enforcement. His parents’ deaths turn his life into a reversed crusade against justice, so he treats the Justice League the way Batman treats criminals: as enemies to study, prepare for, and dismantle. He is patient enough to infiltrate heroic spaces, cruel enough to murder innocents for access, and arrogant enough to believe preparation and technology make him superior to the people he hunts.

His relationships are almost entirely hostile. The Justice League is his main enemy, especially Batman, whom Prometheus sees as a kind of opposite figure. Roy Harper becomes one of his most personal victims after Prometheus maims him, and Green Arrow becomes his final enemy after Star City is devastated and Lian Harper is killed. He has worked with villains such as Lex Luthor’s Injustice Gang, but Prometheus is not a loyal follower by nature; he uses alliances as tools for revenge against heroes.

Prometheus has no natural superhuman powers, but he is extremely dangerous through training, intelligence, and preparation. He is a skilled fighter, strategist, infiltrator, assassin, and escape artist who studies heroes before attacking them. His helmet is his most important advantage, because it can feed combat knowledge directly into his nervous system, letting him use the fighting styles and skills of other warriors, including Batman.

His equipment is built to counter heroes rather than win fair fights. He wears advanced armor and carries weapons suited for ambushes, disabling attacks, and targeted counters against specific opponents. He also uses the Ghost Key, which gives him access to the Ghost Zone and allows him to escape, teleport, and operate from an extradimensional base. Because of this, Prometheus is at his strongest when he has time to plan, choose the battlefield, and attack enemies with information they do not know he has.
