Polka Dot Man

Abner Krill originally launched his criminal career in Gotham City under the alias Mister Polka-Dot. His initial crime wave was built entirely around a "spots and dots" theme, featuring a high-tech costume covered in detachable polka dots. These dots were far more than decoration; once removed, they transformed into a variety of specialized gadgets, including deadly weapons and even a bizarre escape vehicle. During this period, he proved to be a legitimate enough nuisance to actually capture Robin, though Batman eventually dismantled his operation and brought the spree to an end.

Years later, Krill returned to the streets as the Polka-Dot Man, though he had significantly fallen from his technological heights. Lacking his original gimmicks, he resorted to using a simple baseball bat to assault a GCPD officer, resulting in only minor injuries. This pathetic attempt at a comeback ended in disaster when he was brutally beaten by Detective Harvey Bullock, who was fed up with Gotham's costumed theatricality. The assault left Krill in traction, but he ultimately won a small victory by filing a brutality suit against the department, which forced a disgruntled Bullock into mandatory psychiatric counseling. He has since continued his life of crime including becoming a member of the Suicide Squad.

Appearance: Polka-Dot Man has fair skin. He has blue eyes obscured by red goggles. He is bald and has no facial hair. He wears a pair of goggles with silver and black frames and translucent red lenses. His primary garment is a white, form-fitting bodysuit that covers him from the neck to his wrists and ankles. The suit is covered in a pattern of various solid-colored circular dots in red, yellow, orange, blue, and green.

He wears maroon-colored gloves that reach past his wrists. On his feet, he wears matching maroon-colored boots that feature thick, ridged soles.

He is a man burdened by a bizarre skin condition or experimental trauma that he never asked for, making him more of a victim of his own powers than a traditional villain.

His relations are mostly defined by his status as an underdog in the criminal underworld. His primary antagonist is Batman, though the Dark Knight usually treats him as a nuisance rather than a true threat to the city. Within the hierarchy of Gotham's rogues, Krill is often relegated to the fringes, occasionally associating with other joke villains like Killer Moth or Condiment King. These alliances are usually born out of mutual desperation rather than genuine friendship. In modern stories, his most significant ties are to Task Force X, also known as the Suicide Squad. Here, he is often treated as expendable muscle by Amanda Waller.
