Phantom Lady (Sandra Knight)

Sandra Knight is the original Phantom Lady, a costumed vigilante who operates primarily in Washington, D.C. She is the daughter of U.S. Senator Henry Knight. Motivated by a desire to fight crime and corruption, she creates the Phantom Lady identity using technology and training, acting outside the constraints of law enforcement and politics.

She debuts by stopping kidnappers and saboteurs, frequently facing threats that involve espionage, sabotage, or political violence. Operating out of the capital, many of her missions are linked to national security and foreign plots. Her work often brings her into conflict with spies and fascist agents during wartime. Despite having no superhuman powers, Sandra becomes known for her bravery, resourcefulness, and use of unconventional methods.

Sandra often works alone but occasionally allies with other costumed heroes. She becomes a member of the Freedom Fighters, a team that battles large-scale threats to national stability. In these missions, she continues to use her blacklight projector and espionage tactics. Though she lacks physical superpowers, her training in infiltration, intelligence gathering, and hand-to-hand combat allow her to operate effectively alongside metahumans.

Appearance: Phantom Lady has a tall, curvaceous build. She wears a sleeveless, form fitting yellow one-piece costume with a green belt over it. The yellow one-piece features an extremely deep plunging neckline that exposes the inner curves of her breasts down to the navel. Her outfit also includes green gloves, green high-heeled boots, a green cape fastened at the neck with a circular clasp, and a yellow domino mask covering the area around her eyes. Her costume leaves her arms, legs, and upper thighs fully exposed.

Personality: Sandra Knight maintains a civilian identity as a senator’s daughter, using her position in high society to gain access to political events and gather information. Her public persona allows her to move freely in elite circles, while her Phantom Lady identity is used to act on intelligence and pursue enemies of the state directly.

She later transitions to covert intelligence work, continuing operations in secrecy while other heroes become more visible. She occasionally vanishes from public view but remains active in intelligence and surveillance capacities, still utilizing her blacklight technology and stealth methods.

Her main tool is the blacklight projector, a handheld device that emits a beam of darkness. It creates a field of complete blackness, rendering her invisible within it and disorienting enemies. She uses this device in both offense and stealth, allowing her to ambush or evade targets. The projector can also temporarily blind opponents. In addition to the blacklight projector, Sandra receives basic combat training and uses her agility and strategic thinking to fight criminals.
