Thomas Wayne Jr. was born into the Wayne family of Earth-3 as the older brother of Bruce Wayne. He conspired with Alfred Pennyworth (Earth-3) to murder Thomas and Martha Wayne so he could claim their fortune. Thomas also killed Bruce during the attack and became the sole Wayne heir. He used his wealth to build a criminal empire across Gotham and adopted the identity of Owlman. Alfred remained his closest servant and helped manage his operations.

Owlman arranged the deaths of the Flying Graysons and took Dick Grayson (Earth-3) as his ward. He trained Dick as Talon and tried to shape him into a replacement for Bruce. Dick eventually learned the truth about his family and abandoned Owlman. Talon was later killed during a conflict with the Joker (Earth-3). Owlman joined Ultraman and Superwoman as a founding member of the Crime Syndicate. The group conquered Earth-3 and fought the resistance led by Alexander Luthor (Earth-3).

The Anti-Monitor destroyed Earth-3 and forced the Crime Syndicate to escape into Prime Earth through Pandora’s Box. Owlman helped imprison the Justice League and supported the Syndicate’s takeover. He captured Nightwing and attempted to recruit him as a new partner because of his connection to Talon.

Appearance: Owlman has light peach skin and a very tall heavily muscular build with broad shoulders, a thick chest, powerful arms, and sharply defined abdominal muscles. His face is mostly concealed beneath a full helmet. The exposed lower portion of his face reveals a strong jaw, straight nose, and firm lips. His eyes glow with a pale icy blue light through angular lenses set into the mask.

He wears a dark charcoal bodysuit that closely follows his physique from neck to ankles. The suit incorporates segmented armored panels across the chest, abdomen, sides, thighs, and lower legs with darker flexible sections between the armor. Fine seams trace along the limbs and torso, giving the suit a layered construction. A raised armored collar surrounds his neck.

His helmet combines dark metallic gray and silver sections with a smooth rounded crown, reinforced cheek guards, and a sharply defined chin plate. Narrow silver side plates extend downward from the helmet around the jaw. The glowing eye lenses sit beneath pronounced brow ridges, giving the mask a severe angular appearance.

A large circular chest emblem with a metallic silver frame rests at the center of his upper chest. Inside the emblem is a stylized glowing owl symbol formed by two pale blue oval shapes joined by a central point. Layered metallic shoulder armor overlaps in broad feather shaped plates across his right shoulder while his left shoulder carries a simpler armored plate. His forearms are protected by metallic gauntlets with sharply contoured plating, and a long blade-like fin projects outward from the outside of his right forearm.

A metallic utility belt encircles his waist with a large circular central buckle and several evenly spaced vertical rectangular attachments. His hands are covered by fitted dark gloves. A long dark cape falls from his shoulders behind him in heavy folds. The lower body armor continues into reinforced shin guards and armored boots with angular layered plates that maintain the same dark metallic color palette as the rest of the suit.

Personality: Owlman is cold and methodical. He treats fear as a system for controlling Gotham and views people as pieces within that system. He believes power comes from mastering institutions and exploiting every weakness around him. His confidence rests on intellect and preparation rather than physical superiority. Yet his fixation on family exposes a possessive need beneath that control. Bruce Wayne’s refusal to join him and later loss remained a wound that shaped his attempts to recreate that bond through Dick Grayson. He can feel attachment but expresses it through ownership and coercion.

Alfred Pennyworth (Earth-3) is Owlman’s most loyal servant and helped him seize the Wayne fortune. Dick Grayson (Earth-3) became his ward as Talon before learning that Owlman caused the deaths of the Flying Graysons. Owlman later tried to recruit Nightwing because he saw him as a replacement for the partner he had lost. Superwoman (Earth-3) is his secret lover within the Crime Syndicate. Ultraman (Earth-3) remains a necessary ally and a rival whose power threatens Owlman’s control. Batman is the heroic counterpart who opposes his methods and ambitions.

Owlman possesses exceptional intelligence and uses careful planning to defeat stronger opponents. He is trained in martial arts and stealth. His knowledge of criminal psychology helps him predict enemies and exploit their weaknesses. He also understands advanced technology and can create countermeasures for metahuman threats.

His armored suit protects him during close combat and supports movement across Gotham. The cowl contains communication systems and enhanced sensors. His utility equipment includes sharpened Razorangs and grappling devices. He can also deploy explosives and other specialized tools built for a particular target.

Owlman uses advanced vehicles such as the Owlglider for rapid travel and aerial pursuit. The craft can carry additional weapons and may be operated remotely. His equipment serves the same central purpose as his strategy. It lets him control the battlefield before his opponent understands the plan.
