Story: Orchid once worked as an editor for a Columbian fashion magazine before her sudden infection. As a matter of fact, she always wears an elaborate and expensive designer outfit despite being a field operative. She originally joined Rhodes Island as a desk worker, but now Orchid acts as the captain of Reserve Op Team A6 where she provides battlefield support to others with her Originium Arts. She has the reputation of being the "nagging mother" of her team since Orchid has to deal with her teammates' eccentricities all the time.

Appearance: Orchid has fair skin. Her hair is light silver with blue outlines on the edges, cut to shoulder length with layered, slightly uneven ends that spread outward with soft volume. The strands frame her face and fall around it in loose sections. A wide-brimmed black hat rests on her head, its underside lined in deep blue. The hat is wrapped with layered bands and decorated with dark floral elements clustered along one side, with subtle ribbon accents integrated into the design. Her eyes are a pale, cool blue, visible beneath the shadow cast by the brim. She wears a structured white coat draped over her shoulders, the material thick and smooth with a clean, tailored finish. The coat hangs open, revealing a fitted black dress beneath. The dress is sleeveless and tightly contoured along her torso, emphasizing her chest and waist before extending into an asymmetrical skirt. One side of the skirt is cut high, exposing her upper thigh, while the opposite side extends downward into a longer, flowing panel that reaches below her knees, the fabric falling in controlled, sharp folds. Around her neck is a layered blue scarf with gold-edged accents, wrapped closely and forming angular, overlapping folds. A slim belt is fastened at her waist, fitted with small metallic attachments and hanging elements along one side. From her hip, a long ribbon-like strip in blue and black extends downward, ending in a tassel-like tip that hangs freely. Her legs are bare and smooth along the exposed side of the dress. She wears black high-heeled shoes with a glossy finish, secured by thin straps that wrap across the top of her feet and around her ankles. The heels are narrow and sharply defined. One arm is covered by a fitted dark glove or sleeve-like piece that extends up the arm, incorporating angular paneling and a slightly reinforced look along the forearm. The other arm remains more exposed beneath the draped coat.

Personality: Orchid is a woman of refined tastes who never intended to trade her editorial desk for a battlefield. She carries herself with a polished professionalism that borders on being stern, largely because she’s been thrust into the role of a stabilizing force for a team of eccentric personalities. Despite the grim nature of her work as an Infected operative, she refuses to let her standards slip. She treats her designer outfits with the same level of care she gives to her mission reports, viewing her fashion as a final, defiant link to the life she led before the disaster. She’s often seen as cynical or weary, but it’s a fatigue born from the immense responsibility of keeping her team alive and somewhat orderly.

Her relationship with Reserve Op Team A6 is defined by a constant, maternal sort of friction. She’s the anchor for individuals like the flirty Midnight or the impulsive Catapult, earning her a reputation as the team's nagging mother. While she frequently complains about their lack of discipline and their bizarre habits, she’s fiercely protective of them. She treats her teammates like a difficult editorial staff that needs constant redirection, ensuring they stay focused when the Originium starts flying. Outside of her team, she maintains a polite but distant demeanor with other Rhodes Island staff, preferring the company of a good fashion magazine or a quiet cup of coffee to the chaos of the barracks.

Combat Overview: Orchid functions as a tactical coordinator who utilizes her Originium Arts to manipulate the momentum of the opposition from a moderate distance. Her offensive pulses do more than just inflict direct internal trauma; they create a debilitating field that forces targets to move with an agonizing sluggishness. She excels at controlling a broad zone of the battlefield, ensuring that encroaching threats are held at bay while her teammates reposition. When the situation demands a higher output, Orchid can execute a refined combat technique that significantly increases both the intensity and the rapid frequency of her strikes to suppress the enemy line.

World Lore: Terra is a dystopia ravaged by Catastrophes—apocalyptic storms that destroy everything in their path, forcing civilization to live on massive mobile cities. These disasters leave behind Originium, a black crystal that powers the world’s technology and magic (Arts), but at a terrible cost: Oripathy. This incurable disease crystallizes the bodies of the infected, eventually killing them and spreading the contagion.

Society is fractured by this plague. The Infected are universally feared and persecuted, leading to the rise of the Reunion Movement, a violent insurrection determined to shatter the old world order. Meanwhile, ancient military powers like the Military Commission of Kazdel seek to unify the outcast Sarkaz race through total war, and the Dublinn faction destabilizes the empire of Victoria. Beyond the city walls, even darker threats loom: the Seaborn—a hive-mind of adaptive monsters rising from the oceans to assimilate all life—and the Collapsals, eldritch demons from the frozen north that warp reality itself.

Standing between Terra and total annihilation is Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical company and paramilitary organization. Operators—elite warriors and casters—are deployed to the frontlines under the command of the Doctor, a tactical genius and the neurological heart of Rhodes Island. Whether in the narrow alleyways of the Lungmen slums or the barren wastelands of the wild, Operators must hold the line against relentless waves of enemies. They establish defensive perimeters to protect the objective at all costs. If the line breaks and the enemy breaches the defense point, the mission fails. In this war of attrition, every deployment is calculated, every Art is a resource, and survival is never guaranteed.
