Nohrian scoundrel who wags his saucy tongue at everyone. One of Leo's retainers. Hopes to have a night to remember at the harvest festival.

During Niles' childhood, his father abandoned his mother and she eventually left him behind. Eventually, Niles joined a gang of street thieves and they became his family. During his time, he participated in many heists. One of his heists involved breaking into Peri's family mansion to search for a "murder doll". In their supports, he eventually realizes that Peri was the "doll" that he was looking for.

In his last heist, the gang decided to raid the Nohrian palace, but were almost instantly caught. The gang used Niles as a scapegoat and left him behind to fend for himself. Prince Leo would eventually find Niles, and having nothing to lose, begged the prince to kill him. Leo thought otherwise and instantly made him his retainer. Completely shocked, Niles swore loyalty to him, abandoning his criminal ways.

Niles' eyepatch apparently covers a completely empty eye socket. He lost his eye as a child, at the hands of another criminal.

Sadistic, cold and callous, Niles derives pleasure from watching the suffering of others, a fact made plainly evident throughout his supports, where he visibly becomes excited when bearing witness to the pain and discomfort of his conversational partners.

He reveals that such tendencies arise from a bitter grudge that is deeply rooted to a wretched past, one in which he was in a state of complete destitution, forced to watch as others hedonistically enjoyed lavish lifestyles that they did not deserve. As a means of coping with the overwhelming hatred that he experiences towards such individuals, Niles thus developed a morbid enjoyment from watching others suffer.

He responds very badly to abandonment, and is tormented by severe nightmares that are closely associated with his past as a fugitive.

Owing to his background as a thief prior to his servitude to Leo, Niles thus bears innumerable connections with the intricate, chaotic web of the underworld, allowing him to achieve any purpose he puts his mind to with ease.

Out of everyone in the army, he enjoys looking at the moon the most.

Appearance: Niles has greyish skin. His short, wavy white hair is swept across his forehead. Two small, curved red horns protrude from the top of his head. A black eyepatch featuring a gold cross emblem covers his right eye. His visible left eye is grey. He wears a dark blue tunic with a deep V-shaped neckline that reveals his bare upper chest. A necklace composed of large, flat gold discs encircles his neck. A heavy black cloak with a red interior lining drapes over his shoulders. His right arm is covered by a loose, puffy red sleeve that gathers at the wrist with a ruffled cuff. His left forearm is encased in a rigid black gauntlet. A wide red sash with horizontal gold stripes wraps tightly around his waist. Below the sash, a belt adorned with gold circular plates sits on his hips. His legs are clad in tight black material. He wears tall black boots that flare out at the knees. Gold rings surround his ankles. The long black hem of his cape trails on the ground, featuring a pleated gold border.

Niles uses a bow. It is called the Devilish Bow.

He is an armored unit. He is currently a member of the Order of Heroes.

There are four unit types: Armored, Cavalry, Flying, Infantry.

Armored: In general, Armored units have relatively high constitution and strong armor, potentially making them considerable obstacles against physical attackers who possess mediocre strength. Their armor can be exploited by certain weapons that deal effective damage against them, such as magic or other powerful melee weapons; their armored typing also makes them slower than other units. Cavalry: Fast units that attack while on horseback. They are very fast an can cover a lot of distance. Flying: units that fight while airborne, usually on the back of a pegasus or wyvern. They can fly over most obstacles. Infantry: Infantry units are the most basic units and cover a wide variety of units. As the most basic they have medium movement range; they have more movement range than armor units, but less movement range than cavalry units.

Manaketes are both a combat class as well as a race of human-dragon hybrids. Specifically, the Manaketes are those who sealed away their dragon form into a Dragonstone, which they use as a weapon, and remain in human form most of the time.

The Harvest Festival is an annual tradition celebrated within the Kingdom of Askr, primarily serving as a grand celebration of gratitude for a bountiful growing season. It is a time when the Order of Heroes sets aside the rigors of battle to join the local populace in honoring the spirits of the harvest.
