Marshal (& Conkeldurr)

One of the Unova League's Elite Four, he knows the difficulty in becoming strong and yet he strives to grow even stronger in battle.

Appearance: Marshal is a young, muscular dark-skinned man, with orange-accented short hair and eyebrows. He wears a sleeveless teal jacket, teal bands around his biceps, orange fingerless gloves, a black belt around his waist, as well as orange trackpants with teal outlines. He does not wear shoes.

Personality Possessing a very Choleric oriented nature, Marshal is formidable in his training and various stances. Not a type for comedy, Marshal is extremely strict to both himself and the Pokémon he trains. A common trait for Trainers of his type, Marshal has a bulky and disciplined figure similar to that of a professional athlete.

Marshal is the fourth member of the Elite Four in the Unova region.

Partner Pokémon: Conkeldurr.

Conkeldurr's appearance: Conkeldurr is based on a buff clown-like construction worker wielding two pillars of concrete. It has a goatee which appears to be made from concrete. Marshal's Conkeldurr is male.

It is thought that Conkeldurr taught humans how to make concrete more than 2,000 years ago.

Conkeldurr knows Rock Smash, Drain Punch, and Focus Punch.

Rock Smash: Conkeldurr smashes its pillars of concrete into the ground and raises one of its arms. It then clenches its fist and it starts to glow orange. Gurdurr then charges forward and delivers a powerful punch to the opponent.

Drain Punch: Conkeldurr smashes its pillars of concrete into the ground and raises one of its arms. fist becomes enveloped in swirling green energy. It then punches the opponent, regaining health.

Focus Punch: Conkeldurr smashes its pillars of concrete into the ground and raises one of its arms. Conkeldurr focuses its mind before launching a punch. This move fails if the user is hit before it is used.

Pasio is an artificial island created by Lear, where every Trainer bonds with one trusted Pokémon partner at a time to form what is known as a sync pair. These sync pairs fight together in Pasio’s signature 3-on-3 team battles. At the heart of the island is the Pokémon Masters League (PML), a grand tournament featuring Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, Champions, and other notable Trainers from every region. To qualify, participants must defeat PML Leaders across Pasio and earn five badges while adventuring with their partnered Pokémon. Centra City is the island’s largest hub, hosting a Pokémon Center complete with a shop and café. Other major locations include the Battle Villa, a multi-floor challenge facility for endurance-based combat, and several specialized arenas scattered across the island. The most prestigious battleground is the Champion Stadium, where the final rounds of the PML are fought. Meanwhile, the Trainer Lodge serves as a social space where Trainers gather, interact, and strengthen their partnerships.
